    I took my kids to their dentist office August 2024. After my children’s doctor visit I began receiving bills that should have been paid by my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP. I contacted my insurer and was notified by them that the claim was filed improperly. I then contacted the dentist explained how to file the claim properly. They told me they would refill it correctly. I then received more bills to pay immediately within a few days of talking to them. I then contacted Blue Cross Blue Shield again to see if there was a problem. They told me to not pay the bill and to have Costal Dental file the claim properly. During this time I’ve received multiple bills to pay all while Costal Dental telling me they were billing my insurance company. I recently received a collections letter on March 15 2025 from TSI regarding the dental bill. I called costal and they said they had no direct line to the billing company but they would file the claim again. To this day the claim has not been filed correctly and there is still and outstanding bill. This seems suspiciously like an insurance scam trying to double bill trying to get me to pay. I’ve spoken to several individuals who have had the same exact issue and have documentation of those conversations.
