    This is long, but I wanted to put up a Buyer Beware post. Several of my friends and I hired William and Carolina Hog Shine to detail and ceramic coat our bikes. Pre-service messages were answered quickly and we were assured that we and our bikes were in good hands. We were told his work is his reputation, so we scheduled seven bikes to be detailed at our homes over two days.
    We received pictures during the day of our bikes once they were ceramic coated and the pictures looked great! However, after getting home and looking more closely at the bikes we found that the detailing was not what we expected. Each bike had small white flecks of wax all over them. Our garages were left a disaster as well.
    We contacted William about the wax left on the bikes. He replied that he would come back and detail them again for us. As of today, that has not happened. We have been given several excuses over the past month as to why he couldn’t make it back to Lexington. Now, he is not responding to texts or Facebook messages and has blocked us from even seeing the Carolina Hog Shine page on Facebook.

    detailing 3 motorcycles
    $340 Total paid cash which they insisted
    Upon them leaving i noticed a wire not hooked up behind rear saddle bag i removed the saddlebag to access it & noticed the deep scratches on the bottom of both bags i immediately contacted him & sent pics of course he claimed they did not know how this happened then i was told they would return Friday 1-27-23 to make it right & did not & they will not answer calls or texts which i have tried several times. i have them on cameras me paying them,them scooting the bags across the floor etc. was told they would e-mail me a receipt never got it !! these are going to cost about $1500 to repaint as the bike is a custom paint job. 2014 CVO Harley ultra classic I have owned this bike since 2014 brand new & the only detailing since then was done by me & my wife i promise there was no scratches as you can tell they were fresh & new scratches
