Not even a 1 star. This is the worst company ever. I had stopped regular refilling because they were coming too often. After a year I asked for them to start coming back on a regular yearly schedule for filling. In 2 years they never filled it, but are charging me for tank fee (75.00) yearly and a lock fee. I refuse to pay for a service I’m not receiving. So today they said I owe a balance of 300 and have to pay it before any service happens. I told them to pick the bottle up. I’m sure they will attempt to charge me for the entire bill plus pickup. I’m documenting this for a follow up..

I highly recommend NOT using palmetto propane for any service. They are liars,have poor management and sub par record keeping skills. I was a customer before they had an internet presence. My account was on a “keep full” or automatic delivery, for several years. Came home from work to turn on the fireplace and start dinner and I have no gas. On one of the coldest days of the year. I check my account online, it’s all paid up. Call for a delivery, they don’t know when it will get here. Had to make 2 more calls to find out that my account is actually on “will call” status, I haven’t had a delivery in 3 years, which I find very hard to believe, and could take up to 10 days to get the delivery! Finally talk to John, a manager, and he says it’s been on will call for as long as he can see, that the last delivery was in march of 2020… but can’t tell me who if any one requested the delivery or what difference that makes? In turn he says there is “no way” he can get any one out here. I was willing to pay the “emergency” fee as my tank was on zero, and it’s 2 days before Christmas. No solution was offered, just a too bad for you attitude. So I told him to come get the tank, I was not going to do business with people who crap on their customers when they need them the most. I purchased my own 250 gallon tank online for the same cost as the “emergency” fee and will most definitely be finding another company to maintain it.
