    Company quoted a job. We scheduled them and they never showed up. They will not return calls or messages. Completely unacceptable behavior for a company

    On Friday, January 31, 2025, Cheap and Great Tree Services was trimming trees at a neighbor's house. Using the site manager's phone, we verbally contracted with them to trim the trees in our backyard. During the course of their work, a panel of our neighbor's fence was damaged. We were told that day, both by the site manager present (we never did learn his name) and via the site manager's phone, that someone would come by the following week to repair the damaged fence. The site manager took a photo of the damage; we also took photos of the damages.

    Since then, I have contacted them on numerous occasions, via phone, text, and the contact form on their website, asking for the fence to be repaired. If there is a response, it is generally a request for me to text pictures of the damages and they will send "the fence guy" to make the repairs. As of June 7, 2025, nothing has been done; no one follows up after the requested pictures have been texted.

    On June 2, 2025, I spoke with Kevin W***** (again) and texted the picture (again), but also stated that I needed to know by June 6, 2025, when the repairs would be scheduled to be done. I did not receive the requested information, so I am researching how to file a complaint in small claims court.

    On March 14th I got the quote. Which said they would cut down some tree limbs and remove them. Well they cut them down but never came back to remove them. I paid them on the day they cut them down. The has cleared already. I’ve called them every week asking when will they come remove them off my grass. They tell me that they’re back up and I’m on their list but it’s been a month already. I was under the impression that they would haul the limbs off after cutting them down. They didn’t hold up cashing my check until they finished the job. If they refund me back half my money I can pay some one else to remove them.
