    I brought my phone in to get the screen replaced. I was referred by ******** who told me there would be no deductible and no out of pocket for the repair. The lady at UbreakIfix told me the back glass shattered when they did the repair and id need to pay 100 bucks. It's been there almost a month because I don't have $100 and in a few days they will consider it abandoned

    Hello, we have read your complaint, and deem it to be everything but the truth. Yes, we did charge the customer for the back glass on his phone. He came into the store with an insurance claim for his front screen. His back was also damaged. It is policy on ******* devices that if the back is cracked it must be replaced (this is to preserve the phone's water resistance) We did not break the customer's back, it was broken beforehand. If we had broken it, we would have replaced it free of charge, although rarely, we also make mistakes. One thing we do not do, however, is lie. Insurance will not cover the back glass to be replaced. And no, the customer can not get "an *** back for $15". The customer's ONLY option for an actual *** back is us or another ******* authorized repair center. The customer agreed to the price before we did the repair, he could have denied and contacted his insurance for further help. We also would not mark such a device as abandoned. The abandonment period is 90 days, no clue where the customer got 30 from, seems as if he just pulled that number magically from the air. This complaint is nothing more than a waste of time. The customer agreed to pay, and is now looking to change his mind. That is all.
