    I hired Dan of Chattels in Design signing a contract for a total amount of 32,010 and paying him 61% of the money down in a check of ****** to complete an enclosed sunroom on my back patio with electric on November 12, 2024. He did not and has not communicated with me and I had to make several phone calls to start the project which happened on January 27, 2025. And then didn’t show up again until March 19, I have had 3 different project managers, no consistency. I’ve been lied too, workmanship has been faulty, Dan has complained to me about help and electricians. He promised me in his words, “it would be beautiful, I would have a good experience and he would do a good job.” It has been 7 months and they have not performed any work in over 3 weeks. I have no electrical, missing windows and incomplete 16 x 27 ft sunroom after over a half of a year. I have metal shavings throughout my yard, they have cost me extra money using my electric and ran into my fence hauling materials in and out and leaving cardboard and materials in my yard for weeks at a time. He has repeatedly told me the electric al would be complete and that hasn’t happened. This has been a very poor contractor and very bad decision by myself in hiring him as I trusted him to do a professional workmanship. Incidentally, he also required that I pay him $6500 after he performed a portion of the job and he now has 81% of the 32,010 and refuses to give me a completion date.

    The work has been completed. The reason for any delay was due to the manufacturer not delivering the products we ordered for his sunroom kit, and their delays caused delays in the installation process. All that is left to install is the door's deadbolt and handle, which again, the manufacturer keeps delaying in sending to us. There is also just 4 locks to be placed on 4 windows, for the project to be completed.
