On 2/6/2023 My husband and I hired *********************** to fix our roof. ******* told ** his daughter has a contractors license and oversees every job. ******* arrived late for estimate and said roof was leaking near the chimney because we needed flashing. ******* said there was a 1 inch gap around the chimney and assured ** that was the problem. ******* also stated "you are probably going to need a new roof in about a year and I can do that for you too". ******* also stated "I will make sure the roof doesn't leak when I am done with the flashing" ******* verbally guaranteed job for 1 year. ******* quoted price of ******. My husband and I hired ******* to do the work 2/6/2023 and paid him ****** cash up front. ******* was supposed to arrive around 9:30 but had eye Dr. *********** so he did not show up until 11:30. ******* had a women with him and my husband and I assumed it was his daughter the actual contractor but later found out it was actually his wife. ******* left with his wife to get supplies and worked until approximately 2:30 pm. As a result of ******* being late, my husband had to take the day out work because ******* was supposed to do some work in our attic before 11:00 am. On 2/7/23 ******* called and said he was going to be late because his truck had a flat tire. ******* arrived at 12:00 pm (this is captured on home video because we were not home). I arrived at 2:45 pm. I saw ******* standing at the end of my street (he was waiting for wife to pick him up) ******* quickly walked toward me and stated "the job is done I want my money". I told ******* to contact my husband and he was paid the next day.. In March 2023 our roof leaked in the exact spot ******* fixed. We made multiple attempts to contact ******* and he refused to come back out. His daughter the contractor never came to our house to check on the lousy job her father did. We had to hire roofing company to put on new roof. We wasted ****** hiring ******* and want our money back.
