I recently bought a home and my realter set us up with this company for a home inspection. Everything was fine at time of service; I provided payment and I thought that was the end of it. After moving in we noticed a few things that we feel should have been found at the inspection, they didn't find our main fuse box and its not to code. The biggest issue is that if a plug is nudged in my son's room the room loses power, isn't that the things that should be evaluated? This isn't even the issue sadly, as I stated we provided payment at time of service. They lost my payment which I was not aware of until a month later when they started harassing me for payment again. I told ***** that I would call back with payment once I checked my statement to make sure the payment didn't go through to protect myself. The following day ***** showed up at my home for payment while I was at work, just my kids were home and she told them she would " wait for my return" not only is it inappropriate but it's illegal. You cannot come to someone's home demanding payment. They now told me they can't honor the $100 discount I was offered. I called a day later and provided my card info again where they wrote it down and told me they would process it the following day. idk if the info was written down incorrectly but they say the card was declined. Again, the payment should have been processed when I was on the phone, not written down for later. Now I have tried to pay twice, and they are threating to bring me to court for trying to skip the bill. The countless text and calls from the company is completely unreasonable especially when you take into account that I'm not ignoring them. I feel like they are strong arming me for no reason. I haven't avoided the company. I keep getting calls while I'm at work, I'm unable to answer, then ***** will text me and accuse me of avoiding payment. This is harassment, I have never said or given off the impression that I am trying to skip out on payment.

Yes ***** did give a CC onsite. Unfortunately it was deleted accidently before it was processed. My first and ONLY time I spoke to ***** he said ***** had all the info. And will call me .I waited 4 days no response. I called *****, My first and ONLY time speaking by phone she responded she would have to check with her bank . I said I understand. Did not hear back for 6 day! My office has several calls and text no response. I knocked on there door never entered the home. We have documents on ALL calls & text. I asked her if she could PLEASE call my office, we are not unreasonable to work with. Never got a call. This is the first we are hearing about complaints of the electrical. It is all noted in the report with pictures. We also did honor the $100.00 under these circumstances ,that she did issue a CC on site

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

To begin, I was charged the full amount of $1520 not the $1420 that I was told was the amount. it was not 6 days. I have it in my call log. It wasn't even 48 hours. not only do we have a bunch of electrical issues, but the tub leaks as well. These are all things I hired your business to check. why did I pay $1520 for you to miss a whole electrical panel, the one that was part of the inspection isn't up to code, and the drain in the tub is rotted out. I am not responsible for you losing my payment. As I sated before I answered every text you sent me. I work in a small office with others and cannot answer the phone. the behavior for your business is unacceptable, your work was subpar, and you harassed me and my family. I have attached a new photo of my tub drain and call logs.

We feel we did a thorough professional inspection. Many deficiencies were found and clearly noted including the items in question. Please  refer to our complete report and summary. Our office has several calls to both ***** and ***** with no response. Attached is the invoice showing the $100.00 discount.

I have attached 3 documents proving that what they are saying is not the truth. Our relator set up our inspection, she informed us the inspection was $1330, the day of inspection the inspector told us the actual total was $1475, I presented my payment for this service this time even though it was over what I was expecting. over a month later I began to get harassed by this company. I was at work and unable to answer the phone on Sep 18 when I received an angry text saying that because I didn't pay (they lost my payment) that they could no longer honor my $100 discount and the new total due was $1575. I attached a screen shot showing they charged me the full amount. She told me and the BBB that they still honored the discount. this is clearly not true. I think I provided enough proof that not only enough evidence of a poorly done inspection including the loose toilet, leaking pipes, ect, I have also provided evidence showing terrible businesses practices including, showing up to my home for payment, lying to myself and the BBB, creating a fraudulent invoice, and over charging. I have not seen this company provide one thing to prove that I was trying to skip out on payment. My evidence against them is in my option overwhelming and I would like a full refund so I can hire a new inspection company to go through my home for a proper inspection.
