    Dropped my truck off on 7/21/25 for bodywork under insurance, picked up the truck on 8/1/25 and the rear brake line is leaking terribly, lost majority of brake pressure trying to get it home, repair shop said it was out of their scope and to kick rocks

    Customers vehicle was repaired due to a **********************. The damages from the collision did not cause any mechanical damages only damages to front bumper, grille, headlight, and fender. During repairs it was noticed that the brake line was rusted and leaking due to rust/wear and not related to the accident. Notified customer of the leaking brake line and advised that it should be taken to a mechanical shop after repairs to have the brake line fixed. Customer was called when body repairs were completed and asked if wanted vehicle towed to mechanical shop to address the brake line leak. Customer picked up the vehicle instead of taking to a mechanical shop. Customer called back and spoke with management and felt it was our fault that the brake line was leaking and we should be fixing it. Explained to customer the brake line is rusted and not related to the accident or repairs completed. Management notified customer to provide a quote for repairs to fix his brake line and we would review it.
