On August 6, 2025, I purchased ZillionDesigns Essential Starter Package. The price advertised was $89.00, but I was actually charged $90.00. The package was advertised to include setup, optimization, posting, and reporting for my business social media accounts. The contract also listed a $30 monthly ad spend as an optional add-on. Before purchase, I confirmed in writing that ads were separate, and their representative agreed. I also explicitly declined ads again in my August 5 email, stating that I wanted to move forward with the package as outlined (with LinkedIn substituted for Instagram). Despite this, the company later attempted to make ads mandatory and refused to proceed without them. The only item I ever received was a draft content calendar, which does not fulfill the contracted deliverables. No setup, optimization, posting, or reporting was completed. After their lack of response to my inquiries on August 7, I formally requested a refund on August 8, 2025. They have repeatedly refused, claiming that the draft calendar fulfills the contract, which is inaccurate.I have documentation of the original ad showing $89, proof I was charged $90, written confirmation that ads were optional, my email declining ads, my refund request, and their refusal.I am requesting a full refund of $90.00, as the company did not deliver the contracted services and has refused to resolve the issue.

    Business Response

    To,
    BBB
The client signed up on our platform on August 6, 2025, in response to our ******** ad. She made the payment after accepting our project overview email, which also included our terms and conditions. She selected the Essential Starter Package priced at $89 (rounded up to $90 for consistency in monthly billing). The package price was clearly stated in our email, which the client accepted without raising any objections.
Regarding the $30 monthly ad spend, this was always presented as an optional add-on. We explained this to her before the purchase, and she confirmed that she was comfortable proceeding with the package under those terms.
As part of the onboarding process,we delivered the social media calendar on August 8. After receiving the designs, she alleged that we were forcing her to provide ad account access. However, our communication has consistently clarified that services are not contingent upon ad access. We have reiterated this multiple time, and for reference, please find attached email screenshots supporting our position.
We remain open to communicating with her to resolve her concerns.
    Thanks

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

I am rejecting this response because: The business was aware before sending the draft calendar that I had already requested a refund. Despite this, today they sent me an email attempting to pressure me into removing my Trustpilot review and dropping my BBB complaint in exchange for a refund. I consider this coercive and unprofessional, particularly as their communication relied on partial screenshots that omit my full responses. I'm demanding my refund as they never did the work and their initial refusal to do it without me having to run ******** ads.

    Regards,
