      *** sent a letter in June offering to add a family member at a reduced price of $17.01 normally $68 AAA put in fine print that this amount will cover my family member till my membership is renewed. *** lies outright.Please READ the FINE PRINT before dealing with this organization

      I bought a Plus Membership for me and my daughter a few months ago - yesterday she was in ************ (we live an hour and a half away from there) and was in an accident, during the early afternoon. She called AAA and they said a tow will be there at 5 pm but 5 pm comes and goes, and no tow. She calls again and AAA tells her it will now be 9 pm until a tow gets there. She is stranded in ************ on the road, and AAA does NOT keep her updated with this information?! 9 pm comes and goes, so finally I give her my credit card and have her call her own tow, which arrived in 25 minutes, and within the hour they were headed home (11:30 pm). This is the ONLY SERVICE I pay for with AAA and they failed miserably!! They actually put my child in danger by now keeping her updating, and not having a tow show when they said it would. I'm going to make sure they reimburse us for the tow we had to get, and if not, I will get a lawyer. I will then cancel our membership and will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

      Poor customer service. Long wait times. Don't have enough people to service customers. I was told to call back tomorrow for road side assistance.
