A few months after the floor tiles were installed we started noticing slight movements as we walked in certain areas, then we started noticing the grout cracking throughout the kitchen, family ************ + a few of the tiles also started cracking.We proceeded to contact the contractor about the situation, he instructed us to simply buy & apply grout compound to the affected areas, which we did,however, because the tiles weren't applied properly, the grout cracking continued & more tiles started cracking.Thinking that it was a grout problem we hired a ********************* ************** of PA, to evaluate what needed to be done.We hired ************** to redo the grout work at a cost of $2300.00, however, the problem persisted.We contacted ************** to come back out to determine why the grout was still cracking, upon further investigation ************** determined that the tiles were shifting because the sub floor wasn't properly prepared prior to laying the tiles.We proceeded to contact the original contractor, D'Phoenix LLC, Oct 2021 about coming back to our home to see for himself the condition of our floors and to fix them, he asked us to send him ***************** of the affected areas, which we did.He then informed us that he was out of the Country and would contact us upon his return in 2 weeks. Since he did not contact us in 2 weeks we proceeded to contact him again, however, he hasn't returned any of our calls or correspondence since then.Our floors are now looking so horrible, we've had to resort to hiding the affected areas with area rugs.
