    On 12/1/23, **** did maintenance on generator. One month later generator stopped working. I was not aware problem because the generator did not send email telling me there was a problem because the connection was lost. In February 2024 the generator spontaneously connected to my WiFi and sent email stating that it had not been doing weekly exercises for months and would not turn on during an emergency. I called Lighting technology for service. I told them NOT to send ****. I was assured i would get a senior tech. But, they sent **** again. **** pressed a few switches and told me I could have called the office and they would have helped me over the phone. I asked him if he resolved the problem of the generator not communicating with me by email and he said he hadnt since it was currently working. He added that only a senior service person could check that. That it why I told Lighting Tecnology not to send out **** again. Several days later I got an email from the generator stating that it had lost connection to the server.I just received a bill for $291.50 for 1. something **** told me I could have fixed myself for free over the phone and 2. for him NOT being able to resolve the problem of the generator losing connection to the server. My issue is the bill is unfair because although **** did get the generator in the correct mode to do its weekly practice, he absolutely did NOT fix the WiFi connection issue because he said only a senior service person could do that. But, although they assured me they would do this, Lighting Technology did NOT send a senior service person that could troubleshoot the problem.I do not want to use this service again but I do want to pay a fair price for a 2 minute service call and being left with a my generator still not functioning properly because it has lost the connection (again). And I am certain that the exorbitant price they charged me was to take advantage of an elderly widow.
