My credit card has been compromised. I decided to ****** all subscriptions and memberships because of the issues. However, I have tried to call Husk between their hours of operation to receive a message after holding for 7 or more minutes to email. I have tried cancelling online, but it takes you around the site with no easy access, and they have a clause that you don't cancel within 30 days prior to the next business cycle they will continue to charge me with a fee for not having access to my account.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership through Husk but have been very unsuccessful. Husk makes it very easy to sign up online but when it comes time to cancel membership you can only do so by calling their customer service number *************) to start the cancellation process. And no one ever picks up the phone when you call the customer service number, therefore wasting time and money. I need to have the gym membership cancelled ****.Business Response

I purchased a Planet Fitness membership through them, through Perks At Work. On the website and nowhere throughout the enrollment process does it inform you that the $25/month begins 10 days after you begin your membership, and the that $25 you pay up front is only for 10 days. As well theres no way to cancel the membership before they charge you again, as they require a 30 day notice to cancel the membership, locking you into an extra month at least. On the page it's advertised as your paying $25 for your first month, not for the first 10 days then that they would bill you for the monthly membership. As well to cancel your membership you have to contact them through the phone, and they do not regularly answer the phone. To even find the information on where to cancel you have to dig through the membership agreement.Initial Complaint

5/19/23 I signed an agreement with Husk to receive a Planet Fitness black card membership for $25 which is not a discount on the monthly membership i just had my start-up fee waived. In February of 2024, I asked Planet Fitness to downgrade my membership to the $ 10-a-month pass which they did. A few months later I noticed the $25 husk charge and filed that I was incorrectly charged to my credit card company and they rewarded me the $15. I then noticed I was being charged $10 by Planet Fitness in addition to the $25 a month at Husk and asked Husk to refund me for 2 months of the membership since no services were provided. **************** told me they could not refund me because the money was already paid. They do not seem to have any communication with Planet Fitness claiming they already paid them both my payments and refuse to remedy the situation. This company was previously known as GlobalFit and had many complaints against them. The Planet Fitness employee I talked to said they do not know what Husk is and that they could not help me and they only have one account for me on file which is $10 a month. I am looking to be refunded my $35.Initial Complaint

We would like to cancel my wife's gym membership with Anytime Fitness. The membership was purchased via Husk as part of my RTX benefit program. We initially called Husk the first week of March, and they said we had to go to the gym in *************. We did so. The gym said we needed to cancel through Husk. We called Husk back, and they never returned our call despite saying they return all calls within 2 business days. We emailed Husk **************** ******************************************************************* three times requesting that they cancel the membership, once on March 15, 2024, a second time on March 21, 2024, and a third time on April 4, 2024. We received no reply, and Husk continues to draft $45/mo from our out account. All we want is cancellation of the membership and now a refund of the March 19, 2024 membership draft of $45.Business Response

I hope this email finds you well. This email serves as the response to BBB Complaint: 21528999, also attached for reference.HUSK did respond to the member accurately that HUSK no longer holds the billing and is no longer charging directly for this membership. HUSK initially enrolls the member through a wellness benefits program, but after initial enrollment and first payment, all funds and billing are processed and handled by Anytime Fitness and their financial organization, *** Fitness. On April 4, 2024 HUSK emailed the email on file for the member: ********************* to inform her of how to cancel the membership. Please see below:To further assist the member, on receipt of this complaint. I have reached out to the Anytime Fitness location of which she is a member to inform them of her desire to cancel. See below:HUSK has performed all applicable steps possible to support this member's cancellation. Any refunds for requested March 19, 2024 draft would need to be handled and processed by Anytime Fitness and/or *** Fitness.Thank you,
