    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a service provided by Express Drains on June 1, 2024. I hired your company to perform a basic snaking of my drain. The technician mentioned that he did not see any immediate issues but would proceed with the snaking as a precaution. During the process, the technician stated that he wanted to inspect the floor drain inside my house. When I informed him that I was not familiar with the location of this drain, he assured me he would find it. He mentioned that he might have to remove the carpet near the door. He then asked me to turn on all the water in the house to check for any issues, which I did as instructed. When I returned to the basement, the technician informed me that he had located the floor drain and had to chisel it open because it was sealed by concrete. I asked if this would cause any issues, and he assured me that it would not. However, on June 23, 2024, after an hour of rainfall, I noticed water coming up from the drain that the technician had opened. I immediately called the office and spoke with the owner, explaining the situation and the damage caused. Unfortunately, the owner responded by accusing me of fabricating the issue, claiming that this sounded like a new problem. Despite my insistence that the technician's actions had caused the damage, the owner began yelling at me, calling me a liar and accusing me of waiting four weeks to make a complaint. He then abruptly hung up on me. I also reached out to the technician and left a message regarding my issue. When he called me back, he denied chiseling open the closed drain and instructed me to address my complaint with the company on Monday morning. He then hung up on me as well, stating that I should be lucky he even returned my call.I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided and the damage caused by the technicians actions needs to be addressed promptly. I am seeking a resolution to this issue, including repairs to the damage caused.

    We refunded her card. Even tho just unclogging a yard drain 4 weeks prior. She was hit with a flash flood and blamed us for water in basement. We always reply to recalls but her attitude turned us away from retuning.
