    I wanted to leave them a 0 star rating. This is a scam company in my opinion. They couldn't verify my most recent job. I basically provided them every detail they have in the report. My start date was pushed back 3 weeks because they kept asking me to provide more information. Stressful and lengthy process. I did all of the work. I will be looking into legal actions for "Loss of Wages" and any other future losses from their obvious incompetence.

    ****, Hiring ************* Pros! * Want to run off new hires before they start?* Give them a truly dreadful first impression of your org? * Make them question if *any* job is worth this? Just subject them to Certiphi Screening! Like other reviewers and I experienced, your new hires can expect:* Start dates pushed back over a week * Calls and online chats that are never answered * Attempts to tie new hires to jobs and locations that are totally inaccurate As an added bonus, Certiphi tried to get me to snail mail a letter with my name, current address, date of birth, SSN, and handwritten signature to speed the process. No added charge if that information ended up in the hands of identity thieves! And what they told my new employer often did not match what the Certiphi *** told me!This company reeks of incompetence and pure shadiness. I do not trust them with my information AT ALL, and have placed a hold on my credit ***ort. If I had it to do over, I would have declined the job offer instead of dealing with this company.Congratulations on your BBB F-rating, Certiphi! Truly, TRULY deserved!

    Horrible, thats one word to sum up this company. Long wait time for disputes, poor customer service, and significant delays that can jeopardize job offers. *** had hired them to do their background checks but they should really change to Sterling background checks much more proficient.

    This is probably the worst company to ever disgrace the face of the earth. absolutely worthless company the world would be better off without. When you call their phone line you get sent through countless layers of bots which if by some miracle your able to get through youll get put on hold for egregious amounts of time only to be told good bye and hung up on. Trying to file a dispute with this sorry excuse for a company just leaves you waiting for a response which will never come. Totally unaccountable and unacceptable behavior, this company is truly a drain on society. It is mind boggling this company hasnt been shut down considering they are absolutely useless and completely fail to to do their only job in every possible way. It is truly depressing knowing scum like this company is able to exist. its only purpose it to **** up other companies and peoples time and money and throw it away. This company cant be shut down soon enough, and hopefully when that day comes people will be cheering in the streets. It is impossible to put into words how disgustingly useless and incompetent this company is. I encourage any company employing their services cancel and cut all ties immediately if you wish to not waste your own time and money as well as the time and money of your employees.

    ******************. The phone system doesn't work. Hard to talk to anyone. The company has an antiquated system. If you go into your account, you can use the Vertical Screen chat (apparently), but that also does not work. The email you receive from them after you pay your fee says to contact them as soon as possible if you have a problem at the site of your screening, which I did. But had to leave since I could not get through their awful phone system. Also, the virtual chat that they have set up will disconnect you several times, so do not waste your time. Do not waste your time leaving a voicemail either, it does not work. After you select that option, it takes somewhere but it is not to record a voicemail.

    There were multiple mistakes on the background check that Certiphi submitted to a potential employer (thankfully, they still hired me). Some of these mistakes didn't make logical sense, and I was unable to get proper customer support to submit a dispute to their incorrect claims about my past employment.I'm not convinced an actual person was putting the proper attention to detail to my case--it seems like my case was handled by an employee that did not care or an AI bot. For example, they stated that my self employment start date was incorrect based on the reference of mine that they talked to, which makes no logical sense given it's self employment. They also received incorrect dates for 2 other of my past jobs (so 3 total mistakes total). In addition, they were unable to contact a 4th former job of mine, and still did not "pass" it when I submitted W2s and other proof that I worked there.Handling background checks is very serious and I do not believe that Certiphi cares that they can prevent someone from getting hired due to their carelessness.

    Not surprised to see many other low reviews. The customer service is unbelievably rude. When I called yesterday, the only kind woman I spoke to saw that my drug screening results from the test I did last week had not even been sent to my employer! She instructed me to call back after three hours to verify that they had been sent. When I did so today, I was met with at three different rude representatives. The first was a man who talked over me and literally raised his voice at me completely unprovoked. The second told me I was on the phone with the help desk, but that when I called yesterday, I was on the phone with OHS. I explained to her that the number doesnt give the option to (for example) press 1 for OHS. Youre automatically connected to help desk and then they connect you to the correct line. I am not the all knowing connoisseur of what line is correct, what department is for x or y, and she still repeated that I was talking to the wrong ***** I said Well how do I connect to OHS? and thats when she said shed connect me. So I had to reprimanded first before connected? We are all adults. I called the exact same number from the day before as I had already explained, but she wanted a back and forth. When I finally got connected to OHS, the representative immediately said I understand youre calling about your drug screening and I said yes, and she said it was sent to CVS yesterday so I need to talk to CVS at this point. In almost the same tone as person number 1 but certainly not as rude and aggressive. I said Thats all I wanted to know as instructed yesterday. You guys need to have your employees agree on what your protocols are. Three different people speaking to me rudely and being short because I followed the instructions given to me by THEIR coworker. ******* is the kindest representative, but hes the help desk. Once you go further than that, expect disrespect and customer service representatives who dont want to help or ease your confusion.

    Applied for job through "temp service" Integrity Staffing Solutions (not accredited, stay clear). Initially attempting to contact Integrity was an issue, I should have backed off then, but I am in need of job!! Since then I have spoken with 1 rep. (conflicting responses at best) and have emails with another, still no real solid communications and no clear answers on their locations. They used this site called Application Station, regretfully I entered my information. They hound me now for fingerprints etc. Scams everywhere. Criminals absolute criminals! I have received correspondence through email that perspective employer has ran some financial back ground check and standard background; still too many flags with the agency and this site they are utilizing. STAY CLEAR - Be Safe and Well.

    I had a Background Check and a Drug Screen done through this company, The Background Check went by smoothly but I can't say the same for my Drug Screen. I was applying for a job of high interest to me and was excited to start working. The weird thing is that in the time I was waiting for my drug test results I kept getting phone calls and messages from the general manager of the company I was in the process of getting hired for. I kept assuring him that I did my drug screening. The GM took it upon himself to contact certiphi through email asking about my sample and what the hold up was, the time frame from when I provided the urine sample to the day it got tested in the lab by certiphi was a total of 10 days, long story short I got an email from certiphi stating that I failed the drug test due to high levels of marijuana in my urine sample.... I had quit smoking 3 months prior and am in the process of changing my life and furthering my education. I started a dispute with certiphi and also went to my PCP for a drug screen as well to get it tested in their lab. MY test at my PCP's lab came back clean, I then reached out to the GM of the company I was trying to get hired at to try to escalate things in a professional manner and got ghosted by them, I didn't get any messages or phone calls back from them so I ended up giving up on that note and am in the process of something better at the moment, I just thought I would share my experience with certiphi. My drug screen should not have been where it was at with certiphi. After talking to my PCP he gave me a few scenarios as to what could have occurred on certiphis end.
