    On Tuesday, 06/25/2024, R. Williams Paving and Seal Coating employees contacted my daughter at our business, Lickety Splitz, and offered their services. My daughter clearly told them (with witnesses present), that she did NOT want to pave the parking lot. They said they could add to the same product that was present, which was gravel. This company, knowing that we DID NOT WANT OR AUTHORIZE THEM TO PAVE THE PARKING LOT, paved it, and then handed us a bill for $10,000!!! We did not have $10,000 in our budget for this! My husband and son-in-law told them to remove it, and offered to call our attorney, which the man from their company said no to, that we could work this out. We ended up paying $5,000 for this work that we did NOT WANT OR AUTHORIZE because we thought we were trapped and could be sued. We tried to stop payment on the check and consult our attorney, but they took the check STRAIGHT to the bank and it cleared in 24 hours. They proceeded to offer another business near ours (friends of ours) the remaining asphalt, telling them that they contracted with us and had it left over. So, they were using our reputable name to try to s**** other people out of thousands of dollars!!! There was no contract, nothing was signed, and they cost us thousands that we dont even have due to the economy. Then they lied to other businesses. I feel that they did this intentionally. They were real quick to get that check to the bank. And, they were supposed to bring an invoice and receipt, and have not done so. We need both for tax/finance purposes. They are a bunch of lying, cheating scammers, and they need to be stopped! They also allowed people to drive on the pavement in just an hour or two. It should cure for at least 48 hours, and they should have made sure it was 4-6 thick. We will have a real headache after the freezing/thawing of the winter! We have no supporting documents to upload because there werent any, and they cant even provide a receipt!

    As of today, July 3, we STILL have not received a return phone or an invoice/receipt. Its been over a week, and they have not attempted to reach out to us.
