I have a serious complaint against the park. They open at 11 am but you can get in at 9. I got there at 9 am to reserve an electric scooter. I stood in line in pain and was the second person in line. When the doors opened, everyone walked in. I stood in line to fill out the paper for about 20 minutes. When they got to me, I was told that there are no scooters left. There were 3 at the other entrance but everyone refused to get one..Ive never had this problem again. I kept going to the 2 locations of the scooters and none were available. I walked around the park with my cane for about 6 hours and then I couldnt stand it anymore. I sat on most of the benches. My kids were so upset that I couldnt follow them around the park. I walked as much as a could. I went to the front office and asked who I complain to and they told me guest relations. Well guest relations are the people that I have a problem with. So I went to sit on a bench and called the park. I asked for the supervisor in charge of guest relations and they connected me with a man. I didnt hear his name. I was told by him that I should have come another day. He also told me that the park only leases 6 electric scooters. I said to him, that is rediculous with the size of the park and the water park that there are only 6 scooters. At least 30 people were standing in line for a scooter. I was told that they divide the scooters in 2 locations. Well, with me being second in line, I should have gotten one. Its bad enough that they charge for the scooter, but people are in need of the scooters. Nobody at the park wanted to address my concern/complaint. I got brushed off. I have been to this park several times. We live 2 hours away. I had the worst time ever, which didnt make for a good time for the kids. Also while walking around the park, there were several food stations that were closed. I was really shocked about the ice cream booth. The sign stated "Closed for the season". Really........ I am very upset with the way a disabled person was treated. I have never had this problem before. I want this to be addressed with the park and sent to someone that cares about their customers. This is not a way to run a business that obviously makes a lot of money but can only afford to lease 6 scooters. Please address this because they obviously didnt want to hear my complaint. thank you.
