I am filing this complaint due to misleading practices and excessive charges by SERAPH September 2024. We sought assistance regarding an embezzlement issue and were led to believe that a thorough problem-solving approach would be taken. However, the only actions taken were hiring an attorney and subpoenaing bank recordssomething we could have pursued independently.Furthermore, we were severely overcharged at $2,600 for this minimal effort, and the delays have cost us valuable time, worsening our situation. We feel this was not a fair or transparent business practice.I dispute the quality of services provided under our agreement, which did not meet the agreed standard. Although the contract states fees are nonrefundable, SERAPH failed to deliver as promised. I respectfully request a refund of the fees paid.

This complaint fails to address the details laid out in the proposal-agreement. All services were provided as agreed. Also, the client signed our contract with two Terms, the first was no refund the second was no guarantee of their case resolution. We were also threated by this previous client that they would use BBB as a means to get a refund.

       Complaint: 22972028

I am rejecting this response because:

I am rejecting SERAPHs response to my complaint. As the attached emails demonstrate, threats were not made, but rather raised my concerns and hoped to reach a settlement before pursuing this route.
Additionally, verbal promises made by **** ****** were not fulfilled. The services provided by SERAPH were far less comprehensive than those offered by publicly available resources such as TruthFinder, despite the significantly higher cost.
I stand by my request for a refund and ask that this matter remain open for further resolution.

      Regards,

We are a company we only provide services via signed contracts with clients. All services are clearly detailed in the proposal agreement.

Subject: Formal Complaint Non-Delivery of Services as Promised (Complaint #********)
I am formally rejecting SERAPHs response to my complaint. As demonstrated in the attached emails, no threats were made. Rather, I raised legitimate concerns and sought to reach an amicable resolution before pursuing further action.
Additionally, SERAPH, through its representative **** ******, made verbal assurances regarding the scope and quality of services to be provided. These promises were not fulfilled. The services delivered were significantly less comprehensive than those readily available through public resources such as TruthFinder, despite the substantially higher cost.
Given the failure to provide the agreed-upon services, I request a partial refund of $1,650. as a fair resolution. I ask that this matter remain open until an appropriate settlement is reached.

The contract is clear - see the Terms - the client was given the data needed to resolve their case. They have refused to use the plan of action we provided.

       Complaint: 22972028

I am rejecting this response because:

The company's response is misleading. Their "plan of action" was nothing more than common knowledgeto hire an attorney to file bank subpoenas to get the information that was supposed to be provided by their investigationoffering no real service or value. Providing generic data does not fulfill their obligation to deliver the agreed-upon service. The original cost was $2,650, and I have requested a partial refund of $1,600.

       Complaint: 22972028

I am rejecting this response because:

The facts show a failure to meet contractual obligations under Pennsylvanias Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) *****, which holds businesses accountable for failure to deliver goods or services as promised. The "plan of action" provided was insufficient and did not fulfill the terms of the agreement. Additionally, verbal assurances were made regarding the use of funds, which were not upheld. Customers should exercise caution, as the *********************** actions may constitute a breach of contract under Pennsylvania law, which requires businesses to perform in good faith and in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

I hired ********************* in February of 2024, I explained to him that my sister in law had stolen alot of money from my father in law's irrevocable trust and he told me that he would definitely be able to help and that my sister in law would surely go to jail when found out. For weeks he sent me nothing but noise, and each week it was the same things he sent me the week before, I sent him the last $2850.00 I had and should have used it to find someone else. I trusted him and his experience he stated. he had, I don't believe he has any of the qualifications he said he has. I totally believe he is the biggest scam artist around, I am going to contact other authorities to see if I can get my money back. We are no better off now then I was when I hired him. keep your money he's the biggest scammer around and should be investigated. Save your money !

I am rejecting this response because:

Seraph problem solving took my money and gave me no results, they did not follow thorough with anything I have asked them to do, I was told by them that they would be able to get me the paperwork I needed to go to court and have my sister in law arrested. I kept sending them emails asking them if I could provide them with the account I needed to have them look at. they sent me the same repeated information for weeks on end. I want my money back
