I took my car to get a vinyl wrap installed, the wrap was installed however it was not applied correctly as it is peeling, bubbling, burnt with a heat gun and my drivers side door lock is broke! I contacted the owner **** he said he would give me back ****** and I had to get the other ******* from his employee ***. I was then told that I wasnt getting any money back and then told again that I could come pick up ****** and his employee was going to try to work out a deal with his dad for the remainder ******* I then again received another text saying they are not going to refund my money! I have pictures of the car and text messages from **** (owner).

****, started off as a friend of mine. He was a part of my automotive club. He was quoted $4,000 by other far more professional shops to have his car vinyl wrapped. My friend ***, who is also, in our automotive club and also friends with ****, and I offered to wrap Gages car for him at half price at $2,000. **** knew and also, was told from day one *** and I have only ever vinyl wrapped one full car prior to this job. it was made known it was half priced for this reason. **** brought me his vehicle unprepared for wrap. He had most of the vehicle spray painted in primer in his home garage along with his own home body work in his garage. I told him the car should be wet sanded in order to have a nicer job so you won't see the imperfections of the unattended primer sprayed and also wet sanding would allow a smooth surface for the sticker vinyl to stick to. he did not want to wet sand it and said he just wanted it done. *** and I spent 50 hours each on vinyl wrapping Gages car. Was it spot on perfect no I'm sure it wasn't again we were learning. I took pictures from the time the car was dropped off to me till the time he came and picked it saying how great the job looked. **** because of being my friend came back 2 days later with $1,800 cash. A few days later **** messaged me saying there's a few things he would like fixed up and I told him to drop the car off and I will have *** fix it up for him with texts to prove that. He dropped the car off and *** was halfway done fixing the imperfections when Gage messaged me and asked to come over to my garage. He came over and wanted all his money back. I was a little dumb founded at first but, in order to keep my friendship good and my business name from being slandered I told him it's okay to be dissatisfied and I said I will give him all the money back. I offered him $800 in a few days and *** offered his $1,000 portion back asap. We all shook hands and parted ways. The following day I went to the bank and pulled out $800 of my portion and messaged Gage to come by the shop and pick up my $800 and he responded that he didn't want my money and he wasn't waiting for *** to get his portion. He responded that he would rather *** me instead. I responded okay. I also, have messages to prove the offering of money and denying it. He then decided to do self-inflicted damage to the wrap again I have pictures every step of the way from start to finish showing the damages were not there, and decided to slander my name on ******** saying *** and I did a bad job, we didn't want to fix it, and we didn't want to give him money back. Which is all a lie.
