********* charging excessive fees. The police called this tow company even though my insurance doesn't cover. It was snowing my car slid into a concrete curb, could not move my car at all to a safe spot because it knocked my suspension out of whack. I'm upset because the police nor the *** company told me how much I would be looking at for the tow. Never received any type of paperwork or receipt for the tow and storage fees. Never told if I get my car the next business day from the supposed repair shop it would be 1300. which turned out it was a repair shop at the tow company. I spoke to the guy and right away he informed me that I would be looking at $1,300 and I would have to pay that on my own since I don't have the coverage on my insurance. Then he said I might be able to get that lesser charge if I fix my car there. He told me to wait body shop call which I did and the person in the body shop said they don't have time to fix my car after I mentioned having car parts for the suspension. They have too many cars to fix. So that left me with only one option which was to pay $600 to get it out while car is not drivable which means I would be stuck in the same situation so how is that helping me. mind you on Saturday night if I had the money to tow it it was only going to be $250 with American towing in Scranton. 2/8/2024. unfair practice by not only the tow company but the police. Neither of them informed me of price or any agreement. They working together, this isn't a repair shop if they act like an impound 4 a min accident that happened in the snow.scammed out of my car $3,700 and I don't have $1,300 to get my car out after today. My car has been there since Saturday night around 9 p.m. Sunday they're closed so I shouldn't have to pay for Sunday dispatched won't even work with me and was completely rude and talking over me. He said he doesn't care. I also didn't have a choice but to go with this tow company. Repair needs to be an option automatically.
