      Date of service - 11/7/2024 - I scheduled an appointment to have brake pads/rotors changed, as well as a noise diagnosed when the vehicle accelerates. I brought the vehicle in for the 8am appt, highlighted what needed to be done (brake pads/rotors, noise when accelerating, oil change, tire rotation). I clarified that I would be waiting in the waiting room for the service to take place. Once all of the service had taken place the service receptionist stated that all of the work had been completed, except that the whining noise when accelerating was actually that I needed a new transmission and that I was out of warranty. The quote for the transmission work was around $8,000. I met with a sales associate to inquire about trading my vehicle in. Unfortunately my vehicle was worth negative $2,000, due to what I owed on it and I couldn't afford to trade it in. I stated that I wouldn't have had the $658.08 worth of work done had I known it needed a new transmission. I voiced this concern to the service associate, the sales associate and asked for a manager. He was on vacation. I called the business on 11.29.24 to inquire about a refund since the work was completed without full disclosure of the work needed. The manager stated that they would not provide me a refund because I asked for the brakes to be changed and they changed the brakes, and then they assessed the sound it was making and determined it was the transmission. I calmly explained that if I'd have known the transmission needed to be replaced I wouldn't have dumped $658.08 into a vehicle that was essentially worth -$2000.00.I have never had work done on a vehicle without first discussing all of the issues/repair costs needed to address each concern. I brought up the noise to them when I brought the car to the appointment and they chose to do the other work and **** me for it first. No sympathy. No remorse. No solution. No refund. No partial refund. No apology.I would like a full refund for $658.08.
