      Penske truck rental I had never rented from this company I had used uhaul and Ryder, so when I spoke with them in ************** they offered a great rate and exactly what I needed for a move from Mass to ************ ** we stopped in 2 days early to see if the truck would be available a day early and they accommodated when we picked up the truck the one we were renting had been damaged visible so they upgraded us and asked if a larger diesel truck would be OK, I was happy to take the diesel 22 ft truck they had it ready in minutes with 24 new blankets and new hand truck in a truck that had 17k Miles, the company if Mass was amazing to deal with. We loaded the truck that day and planned leaving the next, we had a great journey with one malfunction that can happen to any vehicle it rained poured we had made it to VA when the driver side wiper broke free so I got off the highway and into a ******** stationed and called Penske roadside assistance to get wiper repaired they said it would be 90 min to 2 hours so we decided to eat and take a nap well just as we sat in truck to eat 15 min later the Penske repair truck arrived mechanic introduced himself asked about current issue, he had it fixed in a min and asked if there was anything else he could do to male our trip better, it was all great tried to tip him because it was 1am but he refused and said he wanted to get us up and running quick to finish our trip, so off again no more issues with truck ran amazing. Dropped truck off today 4/15/2024 in ******** ** they were extremely nice and professional we had filled the diesel and the def before dropping off I didn't k ow we didn't have to replace def so they reimbursed us for the def and checked truck back in, so we had a great exp thank you Penske for making the move easier could not have done it without you **

      I have rented from Penske before but this last encounter was nothing short of amazing. We went to an ******* location off of *********************** and was greeted by our names 2 mins before opening. We had just pulled up. ****** took care of all of our needs on our reservation and also let us know what our options were as business owners. We received encouraging words concerning life and business and also networking avenues. This experience honestly was like no other. Even the workers who werent working directly with us were alert, attentive and informative. We will return.

      By far the worst company I ever have dealt with. There billing department makes a mistake with my account I have 1 invoice over 30 days and send me a demand for payment on whole account. Stay away everything they do is a scam. If I don't pay the demand they then ask for all equipment back.

      I am a business owner who relied on Penske for truck rentals. I have spoke to serval associates on most levels of leadership. I will begin with this. My company rented from Penske in January 2024. During the rental my company driver noticed that the side of the box truck was slowly becoming exposed and while driving bolts started to pop off. He was advised to call roadside assistance. Penske in turn sent and towed out a replacement truck. I later asked a Penske One Rep for the new unit information and if the paperwork would be the same as the original reservation. They said yes, everything would be duplicated the same onto a new reservation. Well come to find out it was not duplicated the same and there were errors entered in incorrectly by a Penske associate. I have emailed and called several times to get this mistake corrected so the paperwork so it would be accurate to the original agreement. I have since been put on the DNR list and have not been notified on why. I even rented just a few days ago and was able to set up multiple reservations with their commercial rental team just a few days ago. When my company went to pick up the truck from the same location we rented from less than 2 weeks ago, they denied rental without any explanation. No one is able to take my phone call and address the issues at hand, they keep telling me to email and then won’t reply. For a company that prides themselves in excellent customer support, I question if anyone truly cares. As a renter I am owed a corrected contract to start and a reason of why my company is on the DNR list.

      Good morning. We have spoken with the customer and clarified that the reason his is on the DNR list is stemming from an accident resulting in a fatality. Our Security and Risk team placed a hold on their account resulting in him not able to rent during the investigation. I have reached out to our security team to see if there are any further details we can share with him on the DNR status or when we expect it to be lifted.

      While I realize and understand I should have double checked your employees entrees, that's on me...I trusted your employees and company to do their job during a very stressful time and I just need you guys to follow through. I requested the truck to be though X date and you set it for an earlier date and time to be returned, than my original qouted request. The gas tank when I picked up the truck was at 3/4 of a tank, your employee listed it as full. Tnis resulted in me getting charged an extra $100 in fuel upon turn in. Again, I understand I should have checked the paperwork but YOU need to understand YOUR employees should be doing their jobs correctly and not taking people for a ride. I requested a handtruck. Your employee said it was on the truck and I trusted them. No hand truck at all and I was charged for it. I will literally never use your company again for anything. I will never recommend your company to anyone else period after this horrible experience. I worked my ass off and got the movers to come early to accomdate the errors YOUR company helped create to ensure the truck could go out to another person who rented the truck.. It's not just on me...yeah should have read the fine print and double checked it all ...but YOUR EMPLOYEES were given specific instructions and they said "yeah okay got you" and I trusted them. Never again...period.

      I had the worst experience from Penske Truck Leasing. I reserved a truck that I understood was available from the website. About one half hour later, I get a call from another location saying that there are no trucks available at the previous location for which I reserved the truck. My husband and I both work, so the original location and time worked well; however, the change caused us to have a very inconvenient location and time which is advertised on the phone, and yet that is false information because the websites to not include whether or not a truck is available. I would encourage anyone who needs a truck to use a different company.

      I reserved a 26ft truck well over a month out. I went with Penske because the trucks are supposed to be guaranteed. I had a lady call me from the pickup location in knoxville and ask if I can pick up at 10am I said no my reservation is at 7am. My movers come at 9am. Needless to say after she said the truck would be there it was not. The guy I spoke to at the home depot location said it's supposed to be here at 9 and there's nothing he could do. I had to drive around in a pinch and found a uhual truck. I will never recommend or use this company again, costing me time and money.

      Do not rent anything from Penske!! One of their trucks hit me( I was parked) it took them this days to tell me that the renter used their primary insurance which wasn’t listed! Penske agent had to reach out to the location and the employee says, ‘ He have to reach his manager!!!! What!!!!!!! I’m still waiting and highly upset!! Bad business!!!

      Service and people are great! But do not leave anything behind, because even if they found it, it will have "legs" to walk away, and you never will anyone try to help you find it. Very upsetting, considering that bringing a lot of business to them for many years.
