    Prepaid headstone, base and cement platform to support stone and base in Aug 2021. It was never engraved or installed. My mother passed in Dec 2024. Mr **** was notified several times to produce the stones. He always gave excuses, like lost his help, death in family. Two times we confronted him and still nothing. We left phone messages, email and written statement requesting a full refund of $2600.. Found out today(6/17/25) that Mr **** is now deceased. Hoping to receive refund from him/ his company somehow

    Our family entered into a contract with I Diller Miller on June 12, 2024 to carve and place a headstone for my father. We paid $2000 to the owner, *****. He **** up the contract with a photocopy of the check and put it in my mothers possession. On the contract it states that this be completed by summer or fall of 2024. This did not happen. We have been back repeatedly to inquire about the headstone and he has not even drawn up the Template for the stone, much less carved and placed it. I went today and demanded my money back. He absolutely refused and told me he had no money and could not do that. He also screamed at me. I simply want my money back and take my business elsewhere and he will not allow it. He has stolen our money and given us no services in return. He is in breach of contract.

    My wife passed on March 8. I placed an order for a headstone on March 18. Every time I call and ask for progress, he says "check back with me in 2 weeks. In the beginning of August, he confirmed that he had the headstone in stock and would start engraving by Mid August. My inlaws, who live in ********* PA stopped in there a week ago for an update and he said he had no record of the order. When I called him back, he said he had record but couldn't engrave until October. It is time to fish or cut bait. He needs to finish the stone or refund the money. If this complaint does not bear fruit, I have already spoken to the district court and I am aware of the process of paying $178.25 to have a constable deliver him a court summons. My Inlaws and I will both testify against hi if it comes to that. I am hoping this easier option is enough to get the job done.
