    Attended a seminar 1/18/25 in *********, ** and purchased supplements. Under doctor supervision I was not able to take. Called company and asked to return. Company sent me instructions on how to return, followed instructions, sent doctor slip and returned product. Contacted company by phone and email and have been told return is being processed. This no refund.

    On 2/3/25, my husband and I went to a weight loss hypnotist, pre-paying ***** per ticket and spent $399.99 on a 7 week supply. More than half the room full of people purchased the $700.00 option! The hypnotist (Mark *********************** claimed that all these famous athletes used the General Sciences TrimAM, TrimPM and carb blocking supplements because they're so highly effective. They made claims that there was scientific research proving their effectiveness and purity.The way they get you is to tell you all about how hypnotism works (for an hour), then talk about the supplements for another 1/2 hour, THEN they do they hypnotism for 10 minutes (but they tell you you were actually "under" for about 30 minutes). AFTER they hypnotism bit, THEN they revisit the subject of the supplements and mention nonchalantly, "You don't HAVE to have the supplements but your weight loss will go sooo much slower without them." At that point, it's too late to back out. If they would've led with that while originally visiting the subject, I know for a fact we wouldn't have bought any and I'm pretty sure it's also true for the rest of the attendees.I just used AI to research their claims and it couldn't even locate any studies that were done and/or any of their claims about these products. The General Sciences web site looks like someone's grandmother attempted to design it. Obviously, we were ripped off and God knows what we've been putting in our bodies. ******** you'll see on the attached receipt, it says at the top, "Seminar price only"....but it's not. It's only for the supplements.     I Attended The Seminary 8/5/24 - Purchased The Vitamins, Etc. Did Not Stop Smoking, I Left The Seminar, Contacted Them For Returning The Bottles, & CD, Did Exactly What They Told Me To Do, Filled Out Paperwork, Etc. - Paid Over $30 To Return The Items ***** Signature Required, So They Could Not Say They Did Not Get Them. Saw My Box Was Signed For On A Friday 8/9/24 Contacted Them, Said The Name Who Signed For My Box, Said That They Enter Returns In "Batches" & That By Monday I Should See A Credit Back On My Card. Called Again 8/20/24 They Said It Was Credited - Sent A "Bogus" Receipt To Me - Saw The Credit "Pending" On My Bank Account, Looked In My Bank Account Today 8/21/24 And THE CREDIT DISAPPEARED OVER NIGHT IN MY BANK ACCOUNT !!!! NOT THERE ANYMORE !!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK - THIS IS FRAUD!!! ESPECIALLY MESSING WITH MY BANK ACCOUNT!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A THING FROM THIS SEMINAR - CAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK !!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO STOP THEM FROM DOING THIS !!!     Spoke with call center agent who got in touch with call center manager who monitored call. *********** manager issued a refund of $300 via credit card. Cx did not want to wait the average 3-5 days. The credit card credit on 08/21 was for $300. After it was processed she then demanded $350 due to stress of her starting to smoke with included seminar she attended. *********** manager then issued an echeck Check #VV7782 in the amount of $350.

    i attended a **** patrick stop smoking seminar on 7-20-24 in ********** the whole thing is a scam. they sold me vitamins after the hypnosis and i did not get hypnotized and left with a stronger craving for a cigarette than when i arrived. I called and left messages and phone number I even texted have not received any e-mails or anything from Mark Patrick seminars. i am now out $299.00 dollars for the supplements plus $49.99 for the failed hypothesis and still want to smoke. what a joke. I have 9 remaining unopened bottles that I can return for a refund.

    This customer has reached out several times. We processed his seminar refund. When processing the bottle returns we received a error message stating the card is not valid. If we do not hear back from the customer in 24 hours we will issue an echeck.

    I paid for myself and son ***************** **** was hitting vape within 3 hours and I smoked 5 hours later just changed it from being routine.

    I bought a ticket to his stop smoking seminar for *****. The seminar was in ******** ******** on February 3rd 2024. I bought the ticket a month in advance. My ticket ID #*********. They said I would be guaranteed up to a year for a refund. The commercial on the radio said it was a Mark ********************** Seminar with hypnosis in person to quit smoking. Well the guy that was there doing the hypnosis seminar said his name was *****. ***** got up in front of everyone just to demean all of us for smoking. His hypnosis was a joke. I don't think he hypnotized any of us that were there in the room. I know it did not work for me and I was really counting on it. I believe hypnosis can work but this guy was a joke. He also sold vitamins to people for like ****** to help with all of it. Well I'm thinking it's also a joke. I'm glad I did not buy any of them. When I text their support team for a refund it came from a *******************. He instructed me to download something from one of their websites and fill it out. I did not because it looked like an unsafe website.

    On September 17th I attended a Mark Patrick seminar in Bismarck, ND to quit smoking. I purchased supplements at a price of 419.99. They were to ship 3 sets of supplements to me within 30 days. I have not received any shipments or gotten my money back. Have tried to call and no one answers the phone or returns phone calls

    A total scam. My wife fell for it and wasted $150.00 (for her and 2 other people....$50 each). She left 15 minutes into the seminar because she saw she really made a bad decision, thinking that he might have at least a little clue about what he advertised. Tried to contact them numerous times to request a refund.....no luck in any of them. I am disputing this charge with my CC company because of that. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THIS.....THROWING YOUR $$$ AWAY!!!!!!

    My wife, sister-in-law and niece went to this seminar solely to be hypnotized, as was promised on their website. At the beginning of the seminar, they were told that they wouldn't be hypnotized, but instead he would be giving them "relaxation techniques" to help them quit smoking. This was a total misrepresentation by Mark Patrick Seminars. Below is the information that's advertised by them....it is copied and pasted directly fron their website:

    As you can clearly see, this is a total misrepresentation of what was actually done by him (NO HYPNOSIS!!!!!). There is a 100% moneyback guarantee for a year, but I can't receive a response from them to receive it. All I want is for them to refund my money I paid for this bogus company immediately!!!!! My wife also purchased $150 for supplements / medications that were supposed to help her (as Mark Patrick specifically stated) to cease smoking.....these were NOTHING but EXTREMELY overpriced, useless vitamins, but she didn't know at the time.....she stopped smoking for under a day and is now smoking again.....she took his word for what they were......very poor decision on her part.

    The solution to this would be to refund my $150 refunded for the BOGUS seminar, and also the $150 she spent for these useless, expensive and misrepresented vitamins.  When my money (in full) is refunded, she's going to see an actual hypnotist to help her as she desperately wants to quit the cigarettes.

    Attended stop smoking seminar $49.95 02/26/2023. Purchase ******** vitamin pack $49.95 for 3 pack. Was charged $99 for vitamin pack which they don't mention that if you are on medications not to purchase the vitamins without consulting you physician first. I tried to get them to fix the $99 fee to the $49.95 amount and will return the product for the rest and now seeking the seminar fee of $49.95 back because this seminar does not work!!! Just want all my money back, they can have their stuff back. Really thinking about contacting the FTC and NH State attorneys about this scam if a company, so they cant have their next two events coming up in our state. Get us refunds and shut them down!!! Shame on them!
