On Saturday July 10, 2021, I placed a deposit down of $200 for a tattoo at this tattoo shop. The appointment was set for October 8, 2021. On the day of the appointment the artist cancelled the appointment due to being ill from COVID. He stated that we would reschedule. After two weeks, I reached out to reschedule, and was not contacted again. Over the course of two months, I attempted to contact the artist and the shop to reschedule and was ignored or told that he was busy with other clients. I was unable to reach him on my own, and had to have my husband contact the shop. When my husband finally got ahold of him in December, we were told that the deposit was not refundable, and that he would not use it for any other tattoo or service. Then stated that he could not reschedule until February as he had other clients. I attempted to reach out and reschedule again, only to be ignored. Then the artist contacted me, stating that he would be removing me from the client list, as I did not reschedule with him. From other other reviews left, it seems as though this is a common theme. I would like to be refunded my deposit, as I am not receiving the service, but also would like to file this complaint so others do not lose their money as I have.
