      I went to Prantl's Bakery on June 21, 2025 to order a custom cake needed for July 12, 2025. The staff stated that my order was too complicated to be filled out on the paper form they have. I was instructed to use the online form where an image can be uploaded. I was provided an email and phone number (different from the number on the website) of their call center to follow-up after place my online order.And they told me the call center was closed for the day. On June 24th, 26th, and 28th I submitted an online form with no confirmation of order receipt, nor response by email/phone. I called the call center on June 30th; no one answered. I sent an email around 3pm to the call center asking if my order was received. I did not receive a reply.On July 1st at 12pm, I called the call center. No one answered; I left a voicemail asking if my order was received and left a callback number. I did not receive a return call.On July 2nd at 9:43am, I sent another email to the call center asking if my order was received, and I included details and photos of the design for the custom cake I ordered. I did not receive a response. On July 2nd at 1pm, I called the call center again. A woman answered, and I asked if my order was received. The woman said that my emails were received and responded to; she claimed she had just sent a second response. (I did a "keywords" search through my email; there was no email from Prantl's.) She then told me that my request could not be filled for July 12th.I asked if I changed my design to a more basic design would my order be accepted. She stated that no orders could be filled for July 12th. There was no further explanation or accommodation. It is not acceptable that there was no response to multiple emails and calls, and that an order placed 2 weeks in advance cannot be filled.
