    Home Buyers Of Pittsburgh continues with unwanted purchase solicitation of my home. The latest mailing, a green postcard received on 10/19/2024 coded * ** **** ** **** **** ********* stated, "If you wish to no longer receive mailers, please unsubscribe at www.homebuyersofpittsburgh.com/donotmail" This directs to the website but there is nowhere to unsubscribe, see attached PDF. I called the phone number on the reverse black side of the postcard ************* and recording, "The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time" was announced. The postcard also shows a BBB rating symbol of A+ which I feel is false advertising. Many times in the past I have contacted this company to stop mailings but they continue. I want to be removed from all contacts and lists maintained or shared by Home Buyers of Pittsburgh perpetually .

    thank you for letting me know that the page on our site was down. We switched hosting services and are working through the errors, this being one of them. Sorry you had to be the one to find it while you were already frustrated, but I'm getting it fixed. 

    As far as receiving mailers from our company. We use a third party company to mail homeowners in areas we own homes. They simply use public records to pull surrounding names and addresses or use the USPS to do so. Our team keeps a list of "ask to remove" and we do send this to the mailing company every quarter. We do everything we promise when someone asks us to remove them from our list...which is us removing them from "our" contact list. 

    The issue we and every other company that markets to the public is that we can't remove you from the public records so sometimes you reappear even when you asked to be removed...and we removed you from our side. I know that's not what you want to hear...but its, unfortunately, the truth. 

    I promise that I don't want to waste money sending marketing to people that don't want it. I also don't want people upset or bashing our business for offering our services to the public. 

    I will personally remind them again and I hope you don't receive anything else. If you do, hopefully you can just rip it up and know that I'm wasting money that I shouldn't be.

    April 12, 2024. This company has been Harassing me by Mail for Years. I contacted them through the number which was on their Harassing Post Card. They did answer after several tries. I told the person who answered the phone to REMOVE MY NAME & ADDRESS FROM THEIR MAILING LIST. He stated he would do that. Yet I continued to get more of their Harassing Post Cards. I just got another one yesterday. I tried to call their number on the Post Card but they are no longer answering. In very small type which I just noticed it states that if you want to unsubscribe from getting their Post Cards to go to: www.homebuyersofpittsburgh.com/donotmail. Well I tried this as well and my email company told me that is not a legitimate email address. I called the Real Estate Commission to file a complaint but they stated they have no jurisdiction over these companies. If these Post Cards don't stop with this BBB complaint I will have no other option but to *** them in Court for Harassment. I'm a disabled senior who is very ill and this company is Harassing me. I don't want anymore contact from this company. I have never contacted them and I don't know how they got my mailing address.

    Hi, 

    Ryan S******** here, Owner of HomeBuyers of Pittsburgh. We have no record of ****** contacting our company. We keep a record of all incoming calls to the business. We also have data that shows we pick up the phone 99% of the time when someone calls - which most companies don't. 

    Typically when people call to ask to be removed they're reluctant to give the address which makes it impossible to remove from any type of list. When they do give the address, we send over to the mailing company to have them removed. We use a third party company that purchases public data and sends out postcards through USPS.

    I've attached an example of the card. We even take the extra step (which nobody else does) and have created a link where people can unsubscribe directly through that link. It's very typical that ****** is receiving similar postcards from multiple companies like ours because it's all public data.

    ****** says "the email doesn't exist" - it's not an email. It's a link you type in and you fill out a form to be removed from the company's mailing list.

    Things like this can not go against our company's rating and our reputation.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

                     I JUST NOTICED IN YOUR LETTER YOU STATE TO ACCEPT OF REJECT THE RESPONSE OF THE COMPANY I COMPLAINED ABOUT . I CANNOT FIND EITHER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN SO I AM SENDING MY RESPONSE BY EMAIL: 


                   I REJECT THIS COMPANY'S REPLY, THEY DENY I NEVER CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM TO STOP HARASSING ME BY MAIL, I CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES LEAVING MY NAME AND ADDRESS AND TOLD THEM I WAS NOT INTERESTED AND TO STOP HARASSING ME WITH THEIR POSTCARDS BUT THEY CONTINUED TO SEND THEM OUT. 
                   FURTHER TO STOP THEM THEY HAVE PUT THAT OPTION IN SUCH A SMALL FONT SO NO ONE CAN SEE IT. HOWEVER AS YOU CAN SEE THEY HAVE MISSPELLED DO NOT SPELLING IT WITH TO Ns  SO IT DOESNT GO THROUGH. WHEN THE BBB SUPERVISOR *** POINTED THAT OUT TO ME I WAS THEN ABLE TO GET IT TO GO THROUGH. 
                            AS I STATED IN MY COMPLAINT I NEVER CONTACTED THIS COMPANY. AND IF THEY CONTINUE TO MAIL ME JUNK MAIL I WILL HAVE TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION . I PREFER TO SETTLE DISPUTES IN A CORDIAL MANNER. BUT AS STATED I DONT ACCEPT THEIR RESPONSE.
