    I derived little benefit from the three months I spent in the Trainwell program. The app provides exercises and fields to write feedback in as to how you feel. You can also schedule video calls with your trainer. The app records whether you completed each scheduled session, and reports your streak, that is, how long you have kept to your schedule.The personal trainer tailors your program to your individual needs. I assumed that the trainer would give encouragement and gentle pressure, and continually revise the program to promote advancement. I wrote much feedback about how the exercises were affecting me, and saw some tweaking of my program.I wrote comments about my activities outside the Trainwell program that promote movement, such as yard work and housework, but did not get any follow-up questions from my trainer about them. There was no discussion of nutrition or rest. I wrote many comments in the app, and got little feedback. (I did not make much use of the option to make scheduled video calls; I might have had a more satisfying experience if that had been my preferred mode of communication.)To be fair, I have to admit that I didnt make use of the resistance training workouts I asked my trainer to devise. I never made it to the gym; I did all my workouts at home.There were occasional motivational messages, presumably generated automatically. There were opportunities to join groups for mutual motivation. I didnt join them, as that isnt my thing. The apps streak meter did motivate me somewhat. Many completely automated apps, watches, etc., could do that, too, I assume. The workout routines that my trainer provided did not appear very distinctive. Countless such routines are available on the web, in magazines, or books, accompanied by relevant ************** short, I could have gained just about the same benefits without Trainwell, cheaply or free.

    I had a great experience using Trainwell. I love the accountability and personal attention from my coach. We made several modifications to my workout based on my feedback and found a tempo and movement style that works best for me. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who needs convenience and accountability for getting in exercise.

    This organization appears to be using bait-and-switch tactics. I signed up with a link that advertised $69/mo, but they attempted to charge me over twice that amount at checkout. Beware of your price during the checkout process!

    Hi *****, thanks for leaving a review, we appreciate your feedback! It looks like you ran into a very old promotion in a sponsored YouTube video from before September 2021. Unfortunately those promotions are over 2 years old and are no longer valid, but they still live on the YouTuber's channel as the channel is not owned by CoPilot. So we cannot take those videos down, but the promotions are not active anymore. I sincerely apologize for any confusion; it certainly is not our intention to do any sort of "bait-and-switch".     They use a free trial method to trick customers into paying a monthly bill. No communication from them via email or phone when the app isn't used. Even when you cancel during the trial period billing continues and they say you did not cancel. I used this app for a free trial and was charged $400. I did not use the app after the trial period. I did cancel the trial. But they continued to charge.

    Hi, we noticed you reached out to our support team via email before this post as well and they have already resolved your issue (as of 12/9/22) separately and issued you a full refund. You are not still being charged. It looks like you were charged a total of $297 (not $400) and you created two accounts (one in July and one in August). There must have been confusion on your end, as we only allow one account per client. The free trial is an opportunity to get to experience the service before you pay, not something that should be used multiple times. So it looks like you canceled one account on 8/11/22 during the free trial and then started a new account on 8/25/22 and that second account was never canceled. However, the support team refunded your most recent payment of $99 immediately. And then for refunds of more than $99 (in your case the remaining $198) there is a special approval process. That process took about a day. The support team thoroughly looked for any indication that you canceled or requested to cancel your service but could not find any, so that is why the full $297 was not refunded immediately. We are sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding in the cancelation process! All clients can cancel immediately anytime within the app by going to the "Billing" section of the app or by reaching out to our support team. We aren't able to find any indication that you tried to cancel though. But it was clear that you did stop using the app and believed you had canceled. That is why a refund was issued. It was also unfortunate timing that right when you stopped using the app your coach went on maternity leave and so you were not messaged by them while they gave birth. The support team then refunded the remaining $198 to you on 12/9/22 and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your understanding.
