I signed a Client Retainer agreement with Clear Creek Legal / ****************** on 8/8/2023 for unsecured debt. in the total amount of $10,460.00 with a monthly payment amount of $261.06 for 36 months. I was having trouble paying my debts and I thought Clear Creek Legal would help by only giving me one payment rather then paying a higher fee to 5 business, at a higher interest rate. I continued to pay Clear Creek Legal for 5 payments of $261.06 (starting on 8/8/2023 to 12/8/2023) and they never attempted to contact any of my sources of debt. I continued to receive letters and phone calls from these agencies I owed money to and informed them of my situation and asked if Clear Creek Legal had contacted them in a 5 month period. My answer was always NO, and I myself attempted to contact Clear Creek Legal but they would not communicate with me, but continued to take my money. The only thing Clear Creek Legal accomplish was to further tarnish my good credit and cause stress from the constant phone calls from debt. collectors and Agencies I owed monthly payments to. I was informed from Clear Creek Legal that I had to be patient and the program could effect my credit and cause debts to go to collection. But I don't feel that Clear Creek Legal made any attempt to communicate with me or the Agencies I owed debts to, but continued to take my payments until I finally canceled my agreement with them on 1/4/2024 in writing because they failed to follow their signed agreement with me. After canceling the Agreement I received a refund check in the amount of $18.75 from *************** LLC< Administrator that I never cashed. I would like a full refund of $1305.03 for a Default of services in a binding contract from Clear Creak Legal (*************** LLC)Initial Complaint

I originally signed up with Clear Creek Legal in September. They had a notary public come to my house for signing and legal purposes. I started my payments to them at the end of October 2023. I have paid them a total of $4968 up until now. They have been unresponsive recently. At the start of my payments and process, they were very attentive to me and the attorney would call me back when I left him messages. I now am waiting for a return call in the last few weeks and nothing. I have received countless phone calls, emails, and mail in regards to my credit card accounts. Now, the credit cards are taking legal action since they have not heard from Clear Creek, which was the original plan when signing up. I have stopped payments to them as of now, but not sure if they will take action since I signed paperwork in front of a notary public. I would just like to know next steps as of what to do in this situation. It sounds like TONS of people are going through the same thing as I am with this computer.Initial Complaint

This company contacted me in Aug of 2023 as a debt consolidation company - willing to negotiate my debt that I have with creditors and fix my credit. I have been making payments since Aug 26 2023 in the amount of $203 every two weeks and they have yet to negotiate ANY balance with ANY creditor. I spoke to a representative today (7/29/2024) and was told the company has put negotiations "on hold" since January of 2024 and has not done anything with my account - they do not know when or if they will do anything with it but are still collecting $203/every two weeks from my bank account. They have informed me I have just over $2000 in a "savings" account with them from the money that was collected and the rest went to "fees" even though they have not touched my accounts. I need the total balance back that I paid the company so I can start to settle my accounts myself and get myself out of debt and my credit fixed or they need to start to settle my accounts and fix my credit immediately!Initial Complaint

This company stated that they will resolve my debt and my credit would be back up within 2 years. They have yet to resolve anything and its been 1 year. I enrolled in debt consolidation with clear creek legal July 2023. I was explained the process. Since then, debts have been in pre settlement and pending review. Numerous debts have already been changed off and passed to collections, yet are still pending through the app. Nothing has been done in regards to my debt, except the collection of $403 for 12 months from my account. As week as continued to withdrawal money from my account after May 7, 2024, the date of the injunction for them to cease advanced funds from myself.Initial Complaint

I researched fully & entered into a contract with Clear ***** Legal in July of 2023 for debt **************************** It was explained to me that they had LONG STANDING relationships with almost all major ****************** And there was NO question that they would be able to STOP the interest & negotiate my balances to on average 40% less than they were. I was to pay $554.00/monthly starting immediately, to go into an acct that would be used to pay off my debt once they were settled. Additionally I was told I would be assigned a lawyer, kept apprised of their progress and be out of debt in approximately 4 years. I also could CANCEL my contract at any time prior to resolving the accts & get a full refund. I knew my credit would suffer, but ** thought it would be worth the price of getting out of debt. I was never late, had good credit, but couldn't get ahead with the interest rates. I have been served by one of the creditors on two accounts, suing me for breach of contract, and they have added of 5K in additional interest. fees. I contacted Clear Creek immediately, sent over both summons & try to reach my lawyer. He doesn't work there anymore. I WAITED on hold multiple times for over an hour+, only to be told NO accts are settled and no lawyer has been assigned "yet". Last call was 8 weeks after summons, still no lawyer, I cant get in touch with them, they've done nothing for the over $6000.00 I've paid, I am being sued with NO representation and I cant figure out the status of any of the other accounts. I asked my bank to block their automatic withdrawals and they said they did, but they were still able to take out the $554.00 after I did that. I want them to refund ALL of my money, fees included & I want to know the status of my accts so i can try to resolve them myself. I am in much worse financial situation that prior to singing up for this "relief".Initial Complaint

Clear Creek Legal told me that they were going to help me negotiate all of my debt. I have yet to hear from them. I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and nothing has been settled. Not I received a letter that they have been taken to court so I really do not know what to do at this point.Initial Complaint

I signed up with Clear Creek legal 10 months ago. They were very clear when they said my credit would take a minor dip of 20 to 30 points while they settle my debts. They mentioned it would all be resolved by month 6 in the program. Also communicated that I would be able to cancel at any time with no penalty. The main direction they gave me was to not answer any calls from debt collectors and to immediately stop paying my monthly bills to the credit card companys. This was a part of their program rules. All of this was untrue.Here I am 10 months into the program my credit has dropped over 150 points. Not a single debt has been settled. I received an email stating they are being sued by the Government for misuse of funds received from individuals enrolled in this program. The app does not work. If you call their customer service you are on hold for hours (my record being on hold for 4 hrs 52 minutes....just to be hung up on after a 2 minute conversation.After I called back the following day their customer service rep said I would only be refunded $2000 of the $4520 which I still have not received. They gave no explanation as to why. Now I am in more debt and my credit has dropped over 150 points. This company is a scam and I advise everyone to go a different route. They are unprofessional, unprepared, and overall careless with the lives and Information they should be sharing with individuals enrolled in their debt relief program. This whole experience has made me sick to my stomach. Now it is on me (who thought everything was being handled behind the scenes) to navigate this absolute mess of a situation. I went into this program because I was missing work due to my sons cancer treatment and missing alot of work. I wanted to consolidate my **** to one payment. They collected my money every month and never paid anybody! My son has now passed away and besides this unending grief I have to deal with this. I want all my money back.Initial Complaint

Signed up in June 2023. Paid $495 for debt. Was informed first creditor would be paid by *** 2024 and another soon after. As of now, a year into the program, NO debts have been paid. They keep taking money monthly from my account although I have emailed them to cancel. I have made several calls with no answer. One call made mid day and I was on hold over an hour. I have yet to hear back from anyone from the emails, chats, phone calls Ive made. Ive sent them a physical piece of mail to their PA ****** which was returned to sender. Unknown address. I now have to have my bank stop Global Holding later payments. I dont know where all my money has gone but it seems to be just that - gone. I am so angry and want some resolution. They promised they would help me take care of my debt. All they did was take my money, and ruin my credit.
