    On the coldest day of the year my furnace quit working. I called, to my regret, Boehmer and after 5 days, 4 separate parts and 2 technicians my furnace still wasn't running. After 5 days of frigid cold, the Boehmer tech told me that I needed a new heat exchanger, a $2,500 ***air or a new furnace, the furnace is only 10 years old. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and called a local **** provider. He responded quickly and within 15 minutes diagnosed the (minor) problem and had my furnace up and running. I called to get my service fee refunded, since the quality of service was extremely negligent, and after 2 days of arguing with the customer ********************** *** my number was blocked. I have let all my friends and family know to never use Boehmer for any HVAC service. If I could, I would leave a negative star rating, not the 1 star rating I had to give, since I was totally dissatisfied with the service.

    Today is the ninth time Ive had to call for repair of the boiler Boehmer installed in 2018. They installed it incorrectly which led to condensation damage of my home. I had to call the boiler manufacturer to guide Boehmer through the repair. Then the heat exchanger. Then the spark wire. Then the insulation fell on the burners. Then repiping. Then the pilot needed cleaned. Keep in mind we called yearly and paid for seasonal checkups. Todays problem comes 24 days after the most recent service. And the process of getting someone to come has been difficult every time. I called at 2:15 this afternoon and was promised a tech would be here between 4-6 PM. Nothing by 6:05. I called and was told a tech would call me. Nothing by 6:37. I called and yelled. Got a call back from the on-call tech. Said someone would be here in about a half hour and call first. 7:40 and still nothing. The assigned tech finally called at 7:44 PM and said half hour. Im writing this before he arrives. I continue to call Boehmer because I expect them to service this defective boiler for as long as we have it, or until they choose to replace it.

    Boehmer Heating and Cooling helped me complete boiler wiring work I could not of done by myself. They have top notch, skilled and certified technicians. I felt like they cared about me both in how they charged me, and how they treated my time. The bonus was they figured out a complex problem for me and made it look easy. Thank you ***** and *****!

    I contacted Boehmer because my less than two year old furnace (purchased from Boehmer along with an air conditioner over the past 7 years) would not ignite. The call center associate informed me of the $89.00 service fee for a technician to come and diagnose the issue. Upon arrival the technician removed the heat sensor, wiped it a few times with sandpaper, reinstalled the sensor and the furnace ignited. The entire process took no more than 5 minutes, besides having to pay the initial service fee of $89.00 I was charged an additional $80.00 for the heat sensor to be wiped with sandpaper three or four times...really ! If that's how loyal customers are treated I am considering looking elsewhere for my heating/ac needs.
