This store sells spoiled, expired, freezer burned food to people. They are taking old, cheap food & re-selling it at a higher price. Merchandise that are usually $1 are being sold for $3, things that are legally sold for.75 cents are being sold for $2 etc.. They have junkies working the store, 1 man OD’ed outfront in front of children. Everything is so old it has dust on it. Everything is so spoiled to the point when you 1st walk into the store, the 1st thing you smell is the spoiled merchandise. Everything in the back freezer is freezer burned. Certain freezers don’t work so the merchandise isn’t being chilled & that’s how certain things are spoiling. Yesterday I bought milk, and 1 of each potato chip & a pack of tuna amongst other things. EVERYTHING I got was old & outdated. I mentioned it as I do everyday and they always get upset and disrespectful when you tell them. I was told to report him if I had concerns. I was told if I reported him I wouldn’t be allowed in the store (which I don’t care) it’s a safety and health concern at this point. Someone needs to do something about before more folks fall ill. It is the only store in walking distance for alot of elderly and physically impaired people. My neighbor for instance fell ill from something she ate there. I currently take time out of my day to go travel to another store in a different part of the west end bc she’s unable to walk or drive. I promise you it is worth going to take a look at.. A secret shopper or something. As I previously stated we are being taking advantage of. We are being overcharged. And anyone who eats out of there is at a high risk of falling ill… It’s also dusty & moldy.. PLEASE SEND US HELP!
