William **** D******* DBA GC Development And Maintenance LLC request that I pay him 5800 to remodel my hallway and bathroom he requested 2900 deposit to start the work. William has been working on projects in my home since Dec 2022 each room I hired him to do work in he has left unfinished work and promised to complete in between other projects in my home in my kitchen the wall behind my stove is missing quarter round he replaced my floor and trim and forgot to install the quarter round my island countertop he promised to build at his home and when it was done he would bring it back and install it he brought the pieces back after 4 months mounted the wood base glued the laminate piece down I asked for it to be square which it was but he purposely cut it in the shape of a stop sign and said I threw away material so he couldn’t complete it which was a lie because I no longer wanted him to do my bathroom because of so much chaos and the mess he leaves behind for me to clean up I’m requesting quarter round be added and requesting that island be removed and reinstalled square and he reimburse me for the laminate piece I brought new boards. William installed laminate flooring on my steps which are coming up because he never cleaned them before he glued them down so the glue didn’t bond good because of the dirt. I’m requesting a resolutions to fix the bonding or remove them. In my daughters room he install flooring and a entry door which he did not cut right so it’s dragging on the floor which is damaging the laminate flooring I’m requesting the door to be cut correctly so it’s not dragging on the new flooring . In my bed room patch work around light and electric heater sanded correctly and hallway wall seams we’re not sanded correctly walls are wavy and I also requested my 450.00 deposit for bathroom be refunded . I have been unable to get in contact with this company he has some type of cartoon block on my phone number so I can’t call nor leave a message.

Myself and the owner have fully rectified any confusion with regards to availability and unfinished work or deposits. The owner has restructured his business in a way that allows him to address his time constraints and other contracts that led to him falling behind on my projects. He has since completely remodeled my house completing the renovation of my bathroom which I absolutely love, attic and basement. We intend to partner in real estate projects in the near future. The company and owner have settled all past disputes and complaints filed with the BBB. Mr. D******* was also battling thru the lingering and chronic effects of Covid for over a year to keep his business afloat…I was originally unaware of this battle with Covid and further explains some of the issues that led to my original complaint on 5/25/23. Mr. D******* does fine finish carpentry work and always has creative solutions…especially with an older house where there can be challenges. He has also helped my family on small projects and the full rehab of my daughter’s first home. I would give this business the fair opportunity to do work for any prospective customers and suggest they not prejudge based on past issues. I recommend this business.
