I have filed for a divorce back in April 11, 2022. I could not send back the legal paperwork and was trying to find out how to reach back to the lawyer. Now I am finding out the attorney is deceased. I filed for a divorce in 2022. I was told that court was backed up due to covid and I would be notified once my divorce was final. I've moved out of state twice since filing and lost contact. Recently I inquired but the phone numbers have been disconnected. I'm just now finding out about his death. In response I just want my divorce decree. Me and my ex have both filled out and signed all applicable paperwork. I paid for all my services so I'm just wanting a resolution.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 2******** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I also have not received anything past the initial packet sent prior to 9-22-2022, i had called multiple times after receiving a small post card stating something was sent but was unable to ever reach a person past a secretary that had said he will return your phone call and never did. Also i have no docket number or proving information that a case was ever started indicating nothing has actual been done to this point.

I have paid this office for an uncontested divorce and signed and sent required documents since April and have not heard back. They do not respond to emails, nor is either of their phone numbers ever answered. There is no voicemail, etc.Business Response
