- Additional Info:
On September 28, 2025, the BBB was notified by the company that:
Digital Dream Labs (DDL) acknowledges past delays in product fulfillment (e.g., Butter Robot, Cozmo 2.0) due to COVID-19 supply chain disruptions.
We believe most legitimate customer issues have been resolved through refunds or deliveries. If you are a verified customer and haven't received your resolution, contact [email protected] with proof of purchase for prompt assistance—we'll verify and handle privately. Some complaints appear to come from non-customers or competitors; posters should provide evidence of being actual customers to substantiate claims. No fraud is involved, and personal attacks (e.g., unsubstantiated DUI claims) are false. We invite positive engagement on our progress, like Vector updates.

On September 18, 2024, the Pennsylvania Attorney General filed a lawsuit against Digital Dream Labs, LLC for failing to fulfill orders, failing to issue refunds, and not responding to customer requests.
The lawsuit accuses Digital Dream Labs, LLC, and its CEO, Harold Jacob Hanchar, of violating Pennsylvania’s Consumer Protection Law by failing to provide prepaid merchandise in a timely manner, misrepresenting advertised delivery dates, failing to notify consumers of their right to cancel, denying consumers the ability to cancel undelivered orders , and failed to issue prompt full refunds.
The lawsuit alleges that this conduct is noncompliant with the Federal Trade Commission’s Rule on Mail, Internet or Telephone Order Sales.
Any consumers who believe they may be a victim of these practices should file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection at www.attorneygeneral.gov, call 800-441-2555.
The matter is pending. For more details please visit the Attorney General's Complaint.
