      I called to alert them that my package had been misdelivered by UPS as soon as I saw that the proof of delivery photo was NOT my house. I was told to contact UPS & wait 3 days to see if it would be found. UPS directed me back to A&E. Fast forward 3 days & package still not delivered to my house. I called A&E to reorder or to get a refund & was told to wait another 2 days for investigation or pay more out of pocket to reorder. What!? It does not make sense when I alerted them immediately & they chose to do nothing for 3 days to find the location of my package. They will not get another dime of my money. Beware before you order that you may never get your order & American Eagle will not be in any rush to refund your money when they don't deliver.

      Poor customer service. *********************************************/********************** are only concern with their business. Forget customer satisfication. Their return policy is senseless. They prefer losing a loyal customer over return or exchanging $40 worth of their product. I wouldn't consider buying from Aerie, again.

      If I could give this negative stars I would. They opened an account with my information and attached it to my minor child's name. I called to have the mistake corrected and they refused to correct it and when I said please close the account then, they refused without the consent of my minor child. I had to go through 5 people and threaten to put it in as a fraud claim to get them to close an account with my social on it. This is beyond unacceptable.

      The straight up dysfunction of their pricing model online vs in-store is mind blowing. Theyre contributing to global warming & getting rid of box stores. I paid $195 in store, got the same jeans for $89 online on their website. They wouldnt price match themselves haha so now Im ordering them online and returning them when I get them to the store. Tell me how this all makes sense??? Bet your a** Ill make $100 on this transaction- girl math.

      Pleased an order on 4/29. It FINALLY arrived 5/13. Shipping label was created on 4/29 and didnt start tracking until 5/11. They said they shipped all 4 items I ordered, instead only 1 item shipped while at least one other is now out of stock (thatll happen when you wait 12 days to fulfill). So, not only do they not adhere to shipping times but their fulfillment feels fraudulent. Now the prices have increased and we dont have what we needed. We use to love to order from here as shipping was fast and dependable but thats far from the case now. Never received any info that items were out of stock, instead was told in the tracking those items were in the package.

      I purchased items on their website like Ive done multiple times over the years. I decided not to keep three of the items that I purchased and they were underwear. Ive always purchase online and return in their stores for my convenience. On 1/6/24 around 8pm, I went to return the unworn items to the ************* Mall location. I took out two out of the three items out of the plastic package to feel the material and decided to return because I did not like the way it felt. The associate informed me that she could not return the opened items because I took them out of the plastic packing, which was ridiculous because not all of the items I ordered came with the plastic packing. I spoke to two managers and both informed me that they were told the new policy was underwear opened from the plastic package could not be returned. I, as a consumer was never informed. *** returned unworn underwear many times in the past with this company. This policy is not on the current return policy on their website. The only restriction I see is regarding swimwear bottoms with no liners attached, nothing about UNWORN, TAGS ATTACHED underwear. And the most illogical thing these managers told me was they were only able to exchange the items with something else but no refund. How idiotic is that statement? If youre refusing to accept an item because it was taken out of the plastic packaging, how does taking the item back as an exchange for another item make any sense?

      I placed an order on Nov 30. It was supposed to arrive by the 12/6. I looked up the tracking on the 8th, and it says it is still waiting for carrier pickup. I contacted customer service. They say I have to wait 14 days before they can tell me what happened to my package. This was a gift I needed for a trip that I'm leaving for next week. I have no use for this item anymore and ask to cancel it. They say they can't until the 14 days. This arbitrary rule makes no sense. They don't know where my package is and I cannot accept it since I will be out of town. They still wouldn't cancel it.

      Frequent wrong online orders. Received a sweatshirt that was clearly meant for the trash. There were scissor cuts in the neck and sides. I ordered jeans and received a tax write-off trash sweatshirt. **************** was not super helpful.

      Terrible experience today at store #***** with store manager ************************* around 3pm. I felt ambushed by the (4+) associates to be asked if I needed assistance from the moment I walked in. I picked up 3 sweat pants and 3 sweaters and proceeded to the check line. I was 3rd in line and was approached by ***** asking if he can take my clothes to fold for the cashier to get the line moving along. I gave him the clothes and was called to check out. I explained my experience to the cashier and she was extremely apologetic. She put me at ease, (trans #****) however, seconds later ***** approached the register stating he's the store manager and advised her not to apologize to me (unprofessionalism at its highest). I paid and on my way out the door I can hear him still telling her there's no need to apologize. Therefore, I decided to return my items (Trans #****) because why I'm giving my business to someone that's treating me in a terrible manner (racial profiled). ***** proceeded to say he been with the franchise for 5yrs and he stands by his associates not being apologetic (terrible customer service). ***** doesn't deserve to be a manager to conduct customers in such a poor manner it is tatestless to say the least. I would take my money elsewhere this holiday season.
