    I took my 2013 Ford escape to lennix auto because my check engine light was on at 1030 they called and said they ran diagnostics and said it was the spark plugs that needed changed and that they had already changed them and checked how the car ran. I paid 190$
    As soon as I started my car it started shaking loudly and can't sit idle without having to be put in neutral. The owner of lennix told me to take the car and I could bring it back the next day. I got home and looked under the hood and there was dust everywhere that was not disturbed.
    On 6/6/23 I took the car back he was angry ?? that i came back. I said something sir you might have just crossed a spark plug or put in faulty ones by accident but he kept telling me he did it right and to leave it so I left it and he called the exact same time he called the day before and said the car was ready. When I got there he was on the phone and would not speak to me and had his worker give me the keys.
    Nothing under my hood was moved to get to the spark plugs so there is no possible way he changed them, therefore he charged me $190 for absolutely nothing. Now I am going to pay for spark plugs and the tools to try to change them myself so I will be paying double.
    Lennix auto cheated me and would not have have my car back if I didn't pay the $190 for inexistent work.
    I would like a refund and this job is going to be very hard for someone who has never done it and needs lots of tools so I think they should have to pay for the parts also.

    Customer brought in Ford Escape with a missfire. I scanned and diagnosed code P0303(missfire in cylinder#3). I proceeded to check out problem,

    check coil and check spark plug. Called customer and told him the only thing wrong was a bad spark plug. He said do it. Installed new plug, 

    road test and everything was fine no codes. I told him $190 spark plug, labor and tax. Customer brought back car next day and it XXX drive.

    Rescanned engine no codes and no problems with engine.  Something in the transmission was causing a problem. I told him he should take it

    to a transmission shop for further diagnosing. When he opened the head he would not be able to see the spark plug it is under a cover.
