  Bought refrigerator from Daniels Hardware -salesman- Rod respectful - he seemed to know fridges Hard to figure space needs - I measured the best I could the area - when talking about size issues I mentioned I could go home and take a pic of make and model and he could look up in specs for fridge - that worked I placed order set delivery paid for fridge Day of delivery men came / disconnected fridge dismantled some parts beyond doors and handles took old one to truck / got new one took took doors off - got through front door - about 1/2 too big to get into kitchen my fridge was paid for and sitting on dining room - waiting for office boss **** **** to tell them what to do they were told to put the new fridge on the truck leaving me with no refrigerator told men to get me to store by 7:30 maybe to buy another one I got there told him I have 5 bags of rotting food and nowhere to keep it - *** who is ***** boss told him to take the old fridge and plug it in my garage until I could get another one the new one was paid for by me I told **** I should be able to use it at least overnight he said no I might steal it he said it is my fault the fridge didnt fit - I measured the door wrong I dont remember doing the door - he said I was stupid everyone knows a door has to be measured I asked if he knows what aphasia is - he said he isnt trained to know that nor do I do doors he yelled over my speaking and told me to leave or he would call police / he commented *** knows nothing about fridges / he shouldnt be selling I asked who the owner is - I understand he is ***** and found last name ****** - he wouldnt call *** or ***** not for me said he would see about a loaner next morning - have 5 garbage bags of rotting food when I told **** I went elsewhere - and am expecting a fridge he said good I wont have to see your face again I hope he refunded payment he is disrespectful to me and his 2 bosses - more to say - not enough characters left

  We here at Daniels' do our best to help customers with their needs. While the refrigerator that the customer purchased would have fit in the spot in her kitchen we had no way of knowing the doorway to the kitchen was not large enough for the refrigerator to fit through. **** tried to explain that we could not leave the new refrigerator because it would be used and we could not sell it as new. He did offer her a loaner but the customer said she would use it until she got a new one from a different store, at that time she was informed she would not get a loaner and would be given a refund. We at Daniels' have known **** for years and have never known him to be anything but polite and respectful. We try to do what is right for our customers but sometimes issues arise that we can not help. We wish this customer good luck with her purchase and hope it all goes well for her.

  Very poor sales attitude by **** at True Value Gibsonia, **. Was told by **** that he did not want my business, after he treated my wife with disrespect. We dealt with ***** and went to pickup a cooktop, which ***** said we could on 1/2/2025. ***** was not at the store and **** told my wife she could not pick it up because they did not measure the hole in the granite. Daniels was NOT installing the cooktop, we had our own installer. **** told my wife to get out of the store and he did want her business, after he walked away from her several times. If I owned this business I would fire **** if he treats all the customers buying appliances the way he treated my wife and me. I went to the store on 1 /3/2025 and ***** was busy so **** asked if he could help after he ignored me for ****************************************************************************************************************************************** he would have me escorted out. ***** finally was done helping another customer and told **** to take a break.
