      As a professional tax preparer, I was locked out of my account. I have been filing taxes since 2003 and I am registered with the **** I have used different software in the past. This year I tried 1040now. I admit although the site is basic, I found the site to be helpful perhaps because I am trained in tax preparation. BUT I did notice that there were missing prompts that needed to bring certain steps to the person using the software attention to prevent the returns from being rejected. However, I did not need all the bells and whistles that come with other software. But then things when bad. I was at a crucial point of tax season when my account was locked. I was not given any notice. I had to email. Also, I noticed before this when I first used the software the returns were not transmitted for over 9 days. I was told my account was being held for fraud review. I asked multiple times what they needed. I submitted the information and received sparse responses. I had paying clients waiting. The review took a week. A hard hit for someone providing tax services. And looks bad for a business owner. I cant image what people are going through on the personal side. The returns were held multiple times and would not transmit prior to the lockout. I finally had to return to my previous vendor. I am not surprised that as soon as I added the clients returns, they were filed without any issues. No rejections. I did not receive a response back from 1040now until I asked for a refund and complained of the mistreatment. I was told I would not receive a refund although I did not file 4 returns. I found them through the *** website. Making me distrustful of the companies that are vetted or if they are vetted. I will be filing more complaints regarding this company.Be careful of 1040now Corporation a ****** corporation. The complaints listed here are correct this company does not properly process returns. **************** is unprofessional and dismissive.

      I no sooner finished my return on line and signed out, an hour later tried to sign in with my user name and password it said I had entered a wrong user name.. I even sent them emails, no response.

      I'm so regretful I used this site! The most user unfriendly site I have ever encountered. I can't figure out if my taxes have actually be submitted to the government. I can't get the taxes to print all pages. Literally in tears If I could give them 0 stars I would.

      I filed my federal and state got to the submit button and tried to file my state and I can't it's NOT SUPPORTED even though it said it was on the irs website now I can't efile because you have to do them together to efile your company is giving false information regarding tax filing so they will choose your company its deceitful to say the least. I hope they ship you down

      What a scam, they charged my account $17.95 then my return was rejected. They basically told me I was beat. They rejected my return numerous times over a pin which I didn’t have because I mailed in my return last year & kept rejecting my AGI , really a terrible company.

      They do your taxes, then never send them in to the IRS. Leaving you with alot of problems

      Beware this business is owned by a thief chink. You may find out as I did that the pinko chinko never actually filed your taxes 3 years ago despite paying for it. Save all of your records!

      I filed in the beginning of April, as of today the state of Oklahoma still hasn't gotten anything posted to them. LeVing us in hot water. You all didn't hesitate to take our money. I should of just mailed it in.

      Filed return. It was rejected due to an error on my part. Corrected the error but 1040now won't let me resubmit the return. Emailed CS and they responded relatively quickly. I explained that it was rejected for my error, explained the error and that I had corrected it, explained that it wouldn't let me resubmit the return, gave them all information they requested and sent a video of exactly what was happening only to have them ignore me after they told me to "send us the error code after submission" even though we had gone back and forth several times that I wasn't able to submit the return because the button to submit it did nothing.
      My advice is to choose almost any other tax filing software. I know they are going to say that they are an IRS and state approved tax filing service and to that I reply, maybe you shouldn't be.

      I would give zero stars if I could. It does not HELP you do your taxes at all. And worse, I never pay anything because I do not have to file a Fed or a State. I only file for Homestead Credit. What should have taken less than 1 hour took all day because I had to REDO everything and go over it over 6 times in order to file for FREE like they say you can with filing ONLY for Homestead and/or Home Heating Credit.

      Don't bother with this unnecessary headache.
