I was approached by 2 people "workers" who had claimed to have been from my Electric company, they had told me that they were "correcting customers bills" stating that our power company was over charging us by billing us for 3 separate charges per KW, they then showed me these charges on 1 of my bills and said that they were signing me up to have my bill corrected, at new rate at .10 per KW. They knew full well that I didn't even understand the way these bills work, I told them I just look at whats owed and send the payment. Well, I had just received my new power bill for this month, and the ONLY thing that was changed was the EXTRA charge of $100 MORE added to my current charges for the month. The exact same things were listed as they had shown me and told me were "Wrong, over charges" And now my power bill is an additional $100 more with this Inspire charge. They had me thinking 100% that my bill would go down in cost, which was a 100% flat out LIE!! I am a single, disabled mother of 3, and my income was very tight to start with, which I had even mentioned to them! I absolutely can NOT afford an extra $100 to be giving to an extra Electric company! They knew they had me thinking my bill was going to be cheaper than it had been over the past few months, had I actually known it was an extra charge I absolutely would NOT have signed up for it. The fact that this company allows their employees to LIE in order to get people to sign up is completely wrong, immoral and deceitful.
