    I paid a deposit of $950 via ***** for an apartment. The transaction happened May 13th, My move in date was supposed to be June 10th. June 10th came and my request for certain things to be fixed wasnt done which pushed my move in day to June 17th. I visited the apartment June 16th to make sure everything fixed like i asked and i wasn’t pleased. The lady proceeded to tell me if i changed my mind she’ll ***** me back my deposit. I said i didn’t want it & I’ll take my deposit back. After about 20 minutes, she sent me a text asking for my address and i asked her what happened to it being ***** back. No response. Two days went by, still no response so i asked the same question again.. she texted back the following day saying no a check will be sent to me and asked for my address. I gave her my address & asked how long would it take for me to receive it and if i could just pick the check up myself. She told me to contact the office. I’ve called the office numerous times and no one answered. Two days later, i contacted her again and let her know no one is answering if she could send my money or have someone contact me that can. No response. My mom called her she told my mom a check will be sent out and she’ll inform me on when it does.. that never happened. My mom & I have been calling & texting this lady non stop.. barely getting a response and when we do she says contact the office .. it’s been two weeks now since i was supposed to get my deposit back.

    We did issue this tenant a refund of $950 on 6/22/22 it was mailed out. She still has not cashed it but the refund check was issued accordingly. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks
