0n April 11, 2024 I was at the save a lot supermarket located **********************************************************************. where i'm a frequent customer. I brought 4 half gallons turkey hill ice teas sale priced as seen on shelf flyer and in sales paper at $1.77 each one. when I got to the cashier to pay for my groceries I noticed the 4 half gallons of turkey hill ice teas had rang up $2.79 each one, and not the advertised sale price $1.77 each one. I immediately said to cashier **** who was the manager of store the sale price for the turkey hill ice teas display sign and sale paper say $1.77 each one. His response to me as the customer was thats the sugar tax, I said to him foodstamps doesn't charge sales tax. Then he said to me as customer of store whatever the register rang up that's what your'e gonna pay. then he took a couple steps back from register and looked at me like i was going to hit him. every time I go to this save a lot I always have a problem with price not matching sale price or shelf price. this store is price gouging. I would like someone to investigate and get a refund of $4.08. Also I have my store receipt from that day the time printed on my receipt is 15:01:36. I refuse to do any more business with this save a lot located **********************************************************************. in future. I will be letting other people know about this. Thank-you.

I was asked to keep my bag at the front of the store due to sudden change of policy, be it, store policy. I did not understand why this policy is now enforced as I have patronized this location previous to today (July 19th, 2023) several times. During previous times I was able to visit this location without having to leave my bookbag at the front unsupervised. Despite that, I asked to see store policy and it was not provided and only told to me. With this information I asked if they were privately owned and they said yes, and its up to them if want to enforce it. I feel its unsafe, and was not provided a ticket for the exchange, and could have picked up another bag without any conformation. Please advise this location to make it part of store policy and well known, because I felt uncomfortable leaving my bag at the front as I have high vaule assests in my bookbag and don't trust the processing of the shifty fluxation of employees, and security.
