    At the beginning of March 2025, I moved from ******************* to *******************. I initiated a mailing address change and was pinged by cred.ai that they needed additional information in order to validate my address. This is what they emailed me:"So that we may process your address change request, please provide us with the following verifying documents:1) Clear photos (not scans or copies) of the front and back (both sides) of one of the following that contains your full name and date of birth: your unexpired drivers license, identification card, passport (photo page and signature page), or other US-government-issued photo ***************** A clear photo of you holding the identification document from #1 next to your face (that is, a "selfie" with your document).3) If your above government-issued identification does not include your current home address, then please also include ONE of the following, dated within the last 45 days: a. An original PDF utility bill (electric, gas, water, cable/internet) that shows the billing name (even if it isnt yours) and shows your new address as the service address (you authorize us to confirm with the provider the existence of this utility account)"Since I had just signed my lease on March 1st, I was in the process of changing my banking, utilities, and driver's license over to the new address, which would take a minimum of ***** days to receive. Cred.ai FROZE my account many times even though I was in constant communication (via email) regarding updates to my documentation. Upon receiving my updated I.D. I submitted the images requested which validates #1 & #2, thus no need for #3. Since then they've demanded a utility bill which I have provided, but they still continue to freeze my account. It has been a week since the additional freeze and 4 days since their last communication. I've emailed every day since requesting an update.This has been the most stressful process and need a resolution.

    cred.ai has carefully reviewed the concerns raised by this consumer on June 9th, and we have provided a response directly to the consumer via email on June 18th. The consumer was requesting an address change on their account.  For security purposes, documentation was requested to verify the new address.  On June 11, 2025, proper verification documents were provided and the address change was made. 
    We appreciate the customer's feedback and acknowledge his frustration with the process.  Their feedback has been provided and process changes are being made to ensure other customers do not have the same experience. 
    We have not heard back from the customer since his request has been fulfilled, however, we believe he is satisfied as his address change has been processed as requested.

    2/20/2025 I rented a vehicle from **** Rent a Car. The vehicle was rented from 2/20/2025-3/2/2025. I spoke to **** Rent A Car and they told me that the authorization hold was released back to my bank on March 2, 2025. Cred.ai is telling me in order to release my funds they want a letter from ****. A supervisor is willing to send proof but they can only Fax it to cred.ai. They cannot fax it or email it to me. They cannot even email it to cred.ai. This is not my fault that they can only fax it to cred.ai and they can't fax it to me, email it to me or even email it *********. I am tired of the back and forth I just want my $325.00 hold released to my card. This is my money and it is being held up between **** and cred.ai. And I spoke to a representative at cred.ai and she kept telling me to take a picture and email it. I told her over and over and over again how can I take a picture and email something I don't have. I told her they didn't provide me one when I dropped the car off, they can't fax it to me and they can't email it to me. I told her they can only fax it to cred.ai. Not only did I tell her this the supervisor from **** also told her this during our 3 way call. It is so frustrating that I do not have any money also that the cred.ai representative was not listening and there is no other way for either company to get the documents to each other, All I want from this is my money back.

    So I was told by Cred.AI that I would get a refund from a dispute of $42.79. Within 24 hrs of receiving said message (on their app from their own people) its now been over said amount of time. I had multiple things riding on my money to go through. It never came and still hasnt. Im now being told after waiting 3 months for the dispute to finalize that Im gonna have to wait another week to get my money. I have contacted customer support and they were of no help. Just telling me they are gonna put in a new request and wait 1-2 more days. Im done waiting. If it takes this much time for them to get my money back to me Ill be swapping banks. If they are having such difficulties with their system and will lie saying a refund will be done within 24 hrs. I no longer feel comfortable in leaving my money in said account.

This response included periodic statements and transaction history, along with a detailed  explanation.  The customers' dispute was resolved in his favor and the funds were made available to him on January 10th.  The customer appears satisfied with the response, as he has not pursued further inquiries with us.     I made an order through the TikTok shop back in mid October. The item ended up getting lost in the mail by ****. I attempted to reach out to the seller about this issue and received little assistance, I ended up disputing the charge with them and provided conversation of me and the seller to Cred.ai for the dispute. Well over 30 days later Cred.ai was still "investigating" and the item happened to shake out of the **** system and was delivered. I had already gone elsewhere for this product and when the item arrived I reached out to the seller to return it because again I did not want this item I wanted the money back. The seller said I am still eligible for the refund and do whatever I felt like with the item, about 4 days later ******** FINALLY completed their investigation and claimed the dispute was not valid because the item was delivered. I challenged this providing the conversation between me and the seller showing they were still issuing me a refund even though the item arrived. It took them 17 days to RESPOND to my request to challenge their findings. They reopened my claim on November 18th and yet have received any further help, follow up emails go unanswered, the customer service line is a joke they say to email. The seller can't issue the refund because it is already being reversed by Cred.ai with the dispute and I would have to wait 120 days from the day of dispute for them to issue a refund. I am starting to get extremely ticked off. Cred.ai was great a few years ago but their customer service is now garbage, their customer service line just pawns you off to the app, can't speak with a supervisor or manager, can't get a response by email when they claim that's the ONLY way to speak with the dispute department. All I want is my money back...

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is fine but will add there is no reason this whole thing should have taken 2 months if you could actually reach people on the phone probably would have taken a fraction of the time. Your company takes way too long to respond to a person's email and if you don't have the staff to handle it you either need to hire more people or go back to actually having people that answer the phone that actually have a job function rather than every single person's response is either go to the app or send an email.

    Yes I've been trying to get my card delivered I live in an area where it's considered a Pbf address meaning that my PO box address is considered my physical address I've been able to get my business bank card from *************** delivered at the same address *********** was having issues approving my file due to the fact of the address at the current moment I've been going in circles with them due to the way they run their customer service care it's absolutely impossible to get a hold of anybody that could possibly resolve this issue that has a general understanding on what the post office considers my physical address so I had it sent to my father's address which is more than pliable for sending information such as debit cards so on and so forth but for some reason or another keeps being rejected I have gone back and forth with the service personnel over six times now they escalate the situation to a higher department for tech support but I get the same automated response every single time It would be much appreciated if somebody that actually knew what they were looking at would contact me to resolve this issue due to the fact of how important adding this revolving line of credit to my file is I've exhausted every resource in trying to get this card sent to me and every single time I get the same response and escalated ticket that gives me the same automated BS email It would be extremely appreciated if I was contacted by somebody from customer support and tech support that would actually take into consideration what I'm trying to tell them this has been one of the most unprofessional customer care situations that I have ever had to deal with especially something pertaining to something so important like my credit I have tried to resolve this in every manner possible but still get the same response from an automated email and no resolution to get a number from them to actually contact somebody from management other than customer care this is absolutely ridiculous

    cred.ai has carefully reviewed the concerns raised by this consumer in regards to their address change and replacement card request.  We have provided a response directly to the consumer via email.  Per review of the account, the address change was approved on October 25th. and the card was delivered on November 1st.  We reached out to the customer directly on November 1st and provided him with this information along with tracking information on his replacement card,
    The customer responded to us directly on November 1st stating, im going to go on to better Business bureau and right a follow-up stating that you guys took care of my issue thank you for finally taking care of this.

    We consider this matter closed and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

    I have never used this account since it was opened. There are two unauthorized transactions: one for $13.08 on 03/28/2024 and another for $52.16, which was a purchase made in *******, **********; I live in ********. I have previously reached out to Cred.ai to dispute these charges, but I have not received a response. I demand a refund in my account for both transactions.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Cred AI regarding two unresolved issues that have resulted in financial losses amounting to $175.Issue 1: Failure to Refund Authorized Hold On July 18, 2024, I rented a car from ************, and $575 was deducted from my Cred AI account as a deposit. Of this amount, $75 was authorized as a hold. After returning the vehicle, **** refunded $493.50, citing a tip given to the driver. However, Cred AI never refunded the $75 hold. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with Cred AI, they have not released the $75, and they have failed to escalate the issue as requested.Issue 2: Returned Payment to Merchant Additionally, I recently issued an electronic check to *********************** for tuition payment. My son has just started attending the school two weeks ago, and this was my first payment to the institution. Despite having sufficient funds in my account, ******************** returned the payment, citing a "stop payment," which I did not authorize. As a result, I was charged a $50 late fee and a $50 return fee by the school.I believe Cred AIs actions were unjustified and have caused me financial harm. I am requesting the BBB's assistance in recovering the total amount of $175, consisting of $75 for the authorized hold that was never refunded and $100 for the late and return fees incurred due to the erroneous payment rejection.I hope that the BBB can help resolve this issue promptly and ensure that Cred AI takes the necessary steps to rectify the situation.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
