      We hired basements.com to waterproof our basement and install a new sump pump system in March 2021. The signed contract states a five year warranty on their work and all parts. On Saturday, November 19, 2022 the sump pump failed because a part on the pvc pipe had holes in it and the water pressure pushed the piece down. Water spewed all over the sump pump room and caused the outlet to short and shut off electricity to the sump pump. We did not know it was off until I did laundry where the water drains into that sump pump well and when I came downstairs water was flooding out of the sump pump well area. It had not been pumping for who knows how many days because the outlet had shut off to protect itself from the water. I called basements.com on Saturday and left a voicemail to request they send someone to help fix the issue and honor their warranty and they did respond. I called first thing Monday morning and left another voicemail and someone called me back and asked me to email her all of the detail. She forwarded to the CEO and manager and after I followed up at the end of the day Monday, first thing today (11/22) and end of the day today we still have not received any response or hope they will fix it. Their receptionist gave me the CEO's email and told me to forward everything to him since he wasn't responding to her, and he never responded to me. I would not have selected them out of the three quotes we received for the job and paid them $9,000 had I known they wouldn't care or honor their warranty on their work. Since our sump pump isn't working we will start to have water come in through the foundation of our house, and I reiterated that and begged them to come sooner than later. We will have to hire an emergency plumber now. We deserve a refund on the value of the warranty since it was falsely stated.

      Hi, their office is in PA and they contract out to local teams to do the jobs in PA, NJ, VA, MD & DC.
