If I had to give this place a zero, I would. I moved in Dec 2021, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. When my lease is up, I’m running out of there. For starters, I moved into a first floor apartment. You are definitely going to know when your neighbor comes and leaves, every single step is heard. You can hear when the garage, basement, washer and dryer doors open and close. When I’m sitting in the living room, you can hear a full blown conversation in the basement. Every last word. It sucks when you are a day sleeper because the noise is unbearable, to the point I had to invest in earphones to sleep. If I couldn’t hear them come in, I can definitely smell them. I can smell the exhaust from their car in my bedroom. If that didn’t make matters worse, the neighbors weren’t wrap too tight. They would park in my spot, use my washer, steal my tote, stomp all nights of the hour. Second week into the place, the garage pipe burst. Being a day sleeper and right over the garage, I could not sleep at all because all I heard was water hitting my neighbor’s car the whole time. It took them over a day to come out and fix the issue. I had to call out of work because it was so bad. When I told Erica, the manager, about the issue, the only solution they can offer was a second floor apartment. I accepted because they wanted me to forfeit all the money I spent moving into the place. They charged 300 transfer fee. I asked the reason for the fee. They said it’s to prepare the old apartment and get the new one ready. When I looked at new monthly bill, and they added all these charges to my bill. So the transfer fee wasn’t to prepare the old apartment and to get the new one ready . The new manager Erica took over and said they were putting new carpet in and doing some upgrading on the new apartment, so it should take about a month to move in. I waited a month. When I looked at the apartment I laughed because nothing was done to it, so I’m unsure as to why I had to wait
