    I singed a lease with list of amenities that weren't all available. Specifically the pool wasn't open for five months. Once open we were told we had to pay $25 a day for a guest, this was not part of the original lease and never disclosed upfront.

    I have come to find out Post Brothers is overcharging their tenants at the Goldtex property for electric & utilities outside a tenant's unit (which is not what is agreed upon at signing a lease) - a resident is only responsible for the electric & utility usage within the unit, & not the common areas, but we are being charged for the common areas per the confirmation of the VP to the property manager at the time (last week). We have asked numerous times for a full breakdown of how they are charging us & why electric bills are in the high 300s and 400s and no one is reaching out. They have also violated the PA Fair Housing Laws as well within Goldtex Apartments by offering certain residents rent credits due to broken AC for months at a time, & a huge leak in various apartments , but didn't offer the same rent credit to the other tenants on the same floors or those with the same issues. Unit 814 received half their rent back as a credit for no working AC, but the other residents only received $250. Unit 703 received $200 rent credit for the leak which was caused by a damaged roof, but other units, including mine, did not receive our credit which was promised to us by the VP. We all experienced a HUGE leak (Sunday April 30), I have video as proof; it took 2 weeks before it was fixed. I am also still without a properly functioning AC unit & my apartment is 7 degrees higher than what it is set to. I have video of proof. The electric bill seems extremely high (as do other tenants). It shouldn't be this high for us when we do not have working AC, so what exactly are we being charged for? I have also come to find out that the cameras in all the common areas record audio. Tenants never agreed to having audio recorded. That is highly illegal. I have also come to find out that all 3rd party vendors they use have full access to every tenant's personal information through their CRM system, Yardi. That is illegal as these 3rd party vendors are not Post Brothers employees.
