  The BBB investigated this company due to the number and type of complaints filed against it by consumers.  The BBB also conducted a review of major search engines and found several review sites which confirmed similar conduct by the company in reviews filed on review sites.  The BBB reviewed docket listings in Pennsylvania courts to determine if there have been lawsuits filed against it and we found none.  Finally, the BBB reviewed the company's website to determine any policies the company had regarding issues that were the subject of our investigation.
  
  Consumers have complained they are paying to have trash removed on a weekly basis and the service is not performed. Consumers also state that when they call to report their trash was not picked up, they are told it would be picked up the following day but that does not happen. Customers state that when they cancel for no services rendered, they do not receive their refund that they are due. Many claim they are still receiving bills after they cancel.  As part of the BBB's investigation, we asked the company about its policies concerning these issues including what the cause was for failure to perform under the contract. The company replied stating that they have changed their management. They state they have implemented a policy of picking up missed pick ups within 24 hours, cancellation requests now follow an automated process, and refunds are no longer behind and are on a schedule following the billing for the month.
