    12/02/22 - CountrySide Home Services Technician ********************* responded to a hot water furnace issue. He replaced cleanout oil pump and pump coupler. He also cleared the oil line and removed the oil tank check valve. **** indicated my local regulations required a check valve to be in place. So, **** said a new one would be ordered when the next business day 12/05/22. All services and the check valve were paid for on 12/02/22. Invoice #******** dated 12/02/22 under the description of work indicates "found oil line was clogged up and also check valve oil filter and into the tank so blew out oil lines bypassed check valve which we have to come back to order it and when we come back to do the preventative maintenance we can install that customer paid full amount 1365.68 so nothing is owed when part comes in and we fix". I had also enrolled in their Comfort Choice - Heating plan at the same time.12/14/22 - After not hearing back from CountrySide I called them inquiring about the status of the check valve and when they would be coming back out. The customer service representative said she would need to look into it and call me back.12/19/22 - Called CountrySide since I did not receive a call back and inquired again. I received the same reply as on 12/14/22.12/22/22 - I call CountrySide again but this time requesting to speak with a supervisor or manager. I spoke with ***** a supervisor and he said the part being ordered shows as pending on their system. He said he would check to see if it was on the technician's truck or still with the manufacturer and that he would research and call me back the next day. Here it is 12/29/22 with no status update and the part and services have already been paid. Also as you see from the attachments I received from CountrySide I can't quite figure out how the $1,365,68 was determined but that was the amount charged to my credit card.
