As part of BBB’s review we requested from the company on May 24, 2013 the following: a list of principals and their 3 year work history prior to Credit Investigation Service LLC; all promotional literature and written agreements with consumers including a statement explaining the fees charged; explanation of how fees are calculated; procedures and guidelines for working with credit reporting agencies; a list of names and addresses of any sub-contractors used in marketing and/or providing services to consumers, including a statement of each sub-contractor’s role; all disclosures provided to the consumer prior to signing a contract and 3 customer referrals.
The company’s website states that “professional dispute letters are drawn up for your review and signature”. BBB asked if these letters were created in-house or provided by a third party. If created by a third party, who is the party providing the dispute letters?
As of June 24, 2013 the company has not responded to the BBB’s request for information.

It may take up to three business days from the day CIS receives your request to process it. Cancellation requests sent after the first three business days could result in a pro-rated charge of $3.25 from the previous month to cover services rendered.
You may withdraw your consent to transact business with CIS by calling CIS, but if you do so, CIS will no longer be able to provide you services
