  This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to work with. They are extremely unprofessional, uneducated in their trade and do sloppy work. While they were in our home the first time, they left so much of a mess that we had to have a cleaning company come to our home and shampoo the carpets, upholstered furniture as well as deep clean the rest of our home. There was dirt EVERYWHERE due to their lack of preventative measures when jackhammering and walking in & out of our home. They damaged our washer with their equipment. They damaged our access cap in our yard and can be seen on our Ring camera stomping on it attempting to get it to go back on properly. They left the rubber liner hanging off which we later hit with the lawnmower. They left cement residue on the ground in front of home. They cause $2,300 worth of damage to our truck in the driveway which we also have evidence of on our ring camera.
  We then had to call them back to our home a 2nd time as their work the first time didn't fix our original issue. That work fixed the issues, but lead to an extremely strong sewer odor in our basement. They came out and addressed the odor a few weeks later after a LOT of back and forth, but took ZERO responsibility for causing the odor that started the DAY after they completed the job and literally told us they were doing us a favor by fixing it for free.
  This entire process began on 8/31/23 and continues to be unresolved as we haven't received their video footage that was supposed to be taken on the second job done on 9/12/23. We have received resistance, entitled attitudes and unprofessionalism throughout the entire process. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  I generally never write negative reviews because I've found that things can be worked out with the company, but this was bad enough I felt that others should know about this company. First, I was told they would obtain a permit prior to starting on our septic system. We weren't able to be here on the day of the repair, but I assumed it went well and even received an invoice for the expected amount. I called to confirm where I should send the check and it seemed like things went well. Later that evening I was called and told that they weren't able to do what we expected because they couldn't find the distributor box (which wasn't their fault I recognize) but that the permit office may have some information on our septic system. The permit wasn't obtained prior to coming to our house. I wasn't called during the process at all, and even when I was communicated with later there was no mention of the permit or an effort to figure out what kind of system we have. The original charge was 4,000 for replacement of the distribution box, but a pipe was installed for later use so the cost is now 3,100. The pipe they installed was specifically for their camera access and served no other purpose. This cost was not discussed with us prior to installation. They suggested this was a deal to save us money when in fact we never asked for it and the job we hired them for was not done. This pipe is not useful to us since we do not trust Drain Magic enough to continue to allow them to work on our system. Lastly, I requested itemization for the 3100 dollar invoice since I am paying with a special type of home improvement loan, but the first time the itemization was just a copy of the job that wasn't done, and the second time the itemization was deleted and it contained no itemization at all. Overall I am very disappointed and feel that others should know about the issues listed above.
